What a fabulous evening at Shadow Grove Brewery! So many familiar, friendly faces welcoming me back and having a great time playing trivia! Thanks to Alejandro for filling in as QM and keeping the trivia troops happy. Shout out to the newbies who joined us and vow to return again in an effort to avenge the winners. Round 1 started out HOT with 3 successful DONs, lighting a competitive fire and resulting in R2 having FIVE teams successfully doubling! WHAT?! I KNOOOOW!!!! But wait - as if THAT wasn’t enough, R3 had THREE MORE successful DONs!!! We needed R4 to cool everyone’s jets with a no DON round. The brews kept flowing and the trivia kept trivia-ing and the competition got even more competitive by the final two rounds. Heading into R7 only 1 point separated the #2 and #3 teams. With 2 final round successful DONs, H&Ms pulled off a long coveted 1st place, That’s What She Said came in 2nd and Denied by Disney moved up from 4th to claim the 3rd place prize. Wowsie wow wow wow!!! Well done to everyone and, as always, a big THANK YOU to the staff at SGB for hosting us. The quotes of the night were "My partner is ZERO help", "Who the heck even knows that", and "I can't even!" What an extraordinary night with 11 teams aiming for the top 3 spots of glory at the Shadow Grove Brewery! Plenty of new comers tried taking on the crown by out witting the competition but ultimately it came down to a tie breaker. This was a fun whole hearted night that will surely make regulars out everyone. As always if you aren't playing trivia at the Shadow Grove that's just then we should have a chat about these life choices.
