QUIZ RECAP

A lovely turnout in San Fernando for trivia tonight. Lots of celebrations and friends gathering for a good time, great brews and excellent food from Mecha BBQ and Dom’s Desserts. While most teams weren’t well versed on pictures of famous scientists, most teams new the difference between energy drinks and high fiber cereals. SO GOOD at this round that all 13 teams submitted answers in a record time of 1min:30secs, and 5 teams landed successful DOUBLES in that round! WHAT?!?! Ca-RAZY!!!

Pikachu left many teams confused in the Guess Who round and the game stayed pretty close through 5 rounds. This QM was impressed when 5 teams scored successful doubles in R6, showing their expertise in linguistics. 

In the end, the MCU knowledgeable were smart enough to NOT double. Blood, Sweat & Beers finished 1st, Liquor for China claimed 2nd, and Ice Cream for Dinner took 3rd! Thanks to all who came out to play and a BIG THANK YOU ALWAYS to Shadow Grove Brewing for hosting us each week. Cheers! CC

Thank you Shadow Grove Brewing for hosting a fantastic night of trivia and my 1 year anniversary at your amazing venue! What an awesome group of people! 

13 teams came to play, a nice mix of new and familiar players kicked of the game with multiple successful Double or Nothings. Hot Diggity Dogs had successful doubles in FIVE rounds AND guessed correctly on the 10 point clue in R4! That dog was HOT tonight! ¡Muy en fuego! They finished 1st with 89 points!!! 

Also impressive was Nintendo 69, claiming 2nd thanks to 3 successful doubles. Calculating a final score of 69 to match your team name sure takes talent! Newbies, Nunya Business hesitated coming out of the gate and settled for 6 points in R1, but then summoned the courage for successful doubles in Rounds 3&6. They finished 3rd with an impressive 65 points!
