QUIZ RECAP

What an exciting night filled with holiday spirit at Shadow Grove! We had 5 teams come ready to fight in a whirlwind battle to the top. With a different team in first place after almost every round, it was anyone's game.  Throughout the night, we all enjoyed some good brews together, yummy food from Mecha BBQ and Dom's Cakes, and ranking the cats and dogs from the picture round by cuteness. When it came down to business, the all important decision to double or nothing really paid off for some teams, granting the Belsnickels their first ever win at Shadow Grove! Come join us next Thursday for more trivia fun!

QUIZ RECAP

A fun night for trivia and cold brews at Shadow Grove Brewing. 6 teams competed for gift cards and the ttone was set in R1 with Liquor for China scoring a successful Double or Nothing.

Round 2 had a couple more teams stepping up to show their award knowledge. Buuut, Fat Guys in Over Coats was a bit shy and did not capitalize on DoN for their 8 correct answers. 

With the exception of 2 teams that jump the gun in hopes of a points playoff, every team guessed the “Guess What” in R4 by the 6 point clue. Could exciting World Cup be on their minds????

Round 5 was fairly easy, but debate continues over Settlers of Catan resourcing either “clay” or “brick”. Only one of those fit the category, and it’s the correct one! LOL 

Round 6 May have been the most challenging for most of our teams tonight so I’ll cut to the exciting finale: Tequila Mockingbird had a successful DoN in the final round to take first place, knocking game leader, Liquor for China into 2nd and team Zeus into 3rd place.

QUIZ RECAP

A chilly, but chipper bite to the air this first evening of December 2022. Teams settled in nicely to the General Knowledge round, 3 teams landing successful doubles! Round 2 proved a bit generational testing players “Brat Pack” knowledge, but one team, Liquor for China, proved old enough to know their acting peers and scored a successful double to move to the top of the leader board. Round 3 gave Hot Diggity Dogs a shot at displaying their knowledge of things that hop, skip and jump and they scored a successful double! But that success may have given them too much courage, because they lost an attempted double in Round 5. R6 produced a groan from the crowd when they saw the names they had to match, and it proved to be a challenge. The final round was a bit easier and FastBuxx finalized in 1st, Burger of the Day took 2nd and Liquor for China claimed 3rd place.
