There's no better way to beat the heat then playing some King Trivia alongside brews and BBQ at Shadow Grove Brewing! Teams brought a rivaling heat that put the triple-digit outdoor temperature to shame, skillfully navigating questions about identifying real and fictional Kellys, Mark Cuban's personal and professional life, musical duos, and Bond villians. So Demure approached their answers so mindfully that they secured a third place win, scoring two beer coupons worth $5 any beer at Shadow Grove Brewing. The Kings of Beer became the kings of second place with an impressive final round turnout correctly identifying top beer brands in the US, scoring 30 points and winning 3 coupons that helped discount their bar tab! But Burger of The Day emerged victorious with a first-place victory at a whopping 41 points, nabbing the top prize of 5 beer coupons! Congratulations to all our teams and players! King Trivia returned to Shadow Grove Brewing last night for another series of head-scratching trivia as teams fought for glory to secure beer coupons at the top of the leaderboard! Questions ranged from knowing your periodic tables, the cast of Hamilton, and who received TIME's Person Of The Year award across the last century. The competition was fierce, but our committed regulars came in swinging to secure the top three spots. All Daddy No Sugar clinched third place early in the night and impressed everyone by holding on to their rank throughout, ending the night with 51 points and scoring two coupons, each worth $5 off a brew at Shadow Grove. Burger Of The Day returned to the top charts with a second place victory at 60 points, clinching $15 worth of beer coupons. But it was The B Team who brought their A Game, scoring the top prize of the evening at 67 points and a total of $25 off their bar tab. Congratulations to all our winners and a huge thank you to all our teams for bringing the heat! Round 1 started off with a 3 way tie that led into Round 2 with many double points. Round 3 there was a tie for first that dropped for round 4 when 3 teams answered fairly early. We had technical issues in round 5, at least 2 teams got kicked out of the game, 1 completely out and they started a new team. Round 6 had 5 doubles, and the final round ended in a tie for 1st place. The team Poop was significantly closer, so they won with 71 points.
