QUIZ RECAP

This weeks trivia at Sloanes was alot of fun. Our sponsors from Jiant Hard Kombucha were there giving out some awesome prizes and giving out some free samples as well. Our champions Hey Mommy! are ranked nationally and this game helped get them closer to a new goal! Our 2nd and 3rd place teams were neck in neck and we used the tiebreaker question to declare Biscotti the 2nd place winners! Our 2nd to last place team Always Tardy was excited to play for the first time and take home some Jiant Kombucha as well! We had an ugly sweater contest as well as a cookie eating contest for the Drinking Round. We can't wait for some more Merry fun next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Ten teams joined us for the fun this Thursday evening. More and more people are joining every week, with the regulars and the newcomers all ready for some epic trivia nights.

After our seven official rounds were through, tie-breaking Round Eight was unleashed to break a tie of 43 points between third and fourth place. The Valley Village People ended up in third place and were awarded some scratchers! Therefore, fourth place went to The Full Mooners who ended up with nothing but a great time and an awesome night (not a bad deal though). Purple Monkey Dishwasher unfortunately had to share the spotlight this week as they were knocked out of their win streak to make room for Bug Boyz, who claimed their victory and a $40 giftcard to Sloane’s.

For the drinking round, players played Price Is Right: Thanksgiving edition to see who could get the closest to the cost of different food items. While everyone’s idea of a frozen turkey ranged from $25 - $75, overall it was the Placenta Pals who came within only $4 of the actual total and snagged some Stone IPAs for the table.

The Initiation Club, Vaginistas, Pantalones, Hairy Sleigh Balls, and This Table Right Here still all played fantastic games and everyone seemsed to be having a great time. Placenta Pals even took home the second to last place award and got some free Joshua Tree coffee to take home!

We will be off next week for Thanksgiving, but join us the week after where wonderful quizmaster Gaby will be subbing in!

QUIZ RECAP

'Twas an intimate and fun night here at Sloane's, with your Quizmaster Heather and 2000's tunes on the playlist.

Everyone played exceptionally well, and it was anyone's game the whole night. Red (Taylor's Version) and Taskmonsters went from first to last back up again. Cuddly Bunnies went from last to first and back. What a whirlwind!

Purple Monkey Dishwasher kept their winning streak alive with another win tonight. And this quizmaster finally got to have her first tiebreaker round, when Red (Taylor's Version) and newcomers Rocket fought for second place, but ultimately it was Rocket that stayed true to their name and shot up to that win.

For tonight's drinking round, players had a purse/bag scavenger hunt for various items, and Crucial Moose was successful with all 10 items!
