QUIZ RECAP

It was pretty much Wicked Witches night all night, with The Valley Village People on their tail. A Round 6 double or nothing from Crucial Moose shot them to the number two spot, while Wicked Witches stayed in first and The Valley Village People fell to third. Luckily for them though, Sloane’s offers 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes so none of them went home empty handed. The BiPolar Bears were SO close only two points behind that 3^rd place spot but still felt like winners in their own private nook anyway J

Good News Bears, Sugar and Spice, and Old and Reckless rounded out the bottom three, but again, for one lucky team (Sugar and Spice), Sloane’s offers that illustrious second-to-last place prize and they still walked away with their consolation prize.

For the drinking round, one participant from each team was asked to place an Oreo on their head and, using only their facial muscles, move the cookie down into their mouth. While everyone gave an amazing effort, Crucial Moose managed to complete the task in 5.65 seconds (the fastest this quizmaster has ever seen!), winning a spin on the drinking wheel for some free Sour beers.

QUIZ RECAP

Welcome to the first ever trivia night at Sloane’s Valley Village! Thank you all for coming to kick off this awesome night. Everyone brought their thinking caps and their wonderful energy to the table tonight. And special thanks to the fearless leader Bobby for dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.

Seven teams came out to play tonight, as well as your Quizmaster Heather, and it was a close race through most of the night. SCARY-O-TYPES brought the liveliness to the group and definitely had the funniest answers. Catalina Wine Mixers came in second to last, but thanks to that second-to-last place prize they still walked away with a goodie bag (special thanks to Frends Beauty!).

The Painted Ladies, Beers & Queers, and Stu Crew all played a great game and stayed pretty consistent throughout the night!

Titty Titty Gangbang had the lead for half of the game, being passed up by Midnight Powerwalk in round 3 by only one point! It was down to the wire in round 7, where Midnight managed to get only one more correct answer, and therefore take their 2-point lead to victory. A close call but an exciting one nonetheless.

For the drinking round the teams were asked to play find the musical connection with 4 songs from female-led rock groups. Stu Crew were the victors to spin the drink wheel for a round of the Sloane’s house red.
