QUIZ RECAP

Another fantastic night of trivia at Solano Brewing Company!  Our quiz tonight leaned heavily on pop culture trivia, asking us to call to mind the handsomest Star Wars actor (I'm a Harrison Ford gal, myself), the name of the Huxtable family matriarch, and the hometown of Scout Finch.  If you're a TV watcher or a book reader, this game was the one for you.

The podium tonight was only mildly contentious, with a three way tie for second place shaking up the rankings.  Force of One came away with a clear first place, and newcomers Sassy Soros took second with a tiebreaker win.  Owens Team 1 rounded out the podium with third place.

QUIZ RECAP

I thought the full house last week was an anomaly because of St. Patrick's Day, but nope...Turns out Solano Brewing Company comes to play!  We had a packed taproom with 10 teams all fighting for top (and incidentally, bottom) spots in today's game.  Tonight, we learned that rickrolling is alive and well, that the show is called Sex and the City, not Sex in the City, and that Jay-Z truly is a rap god.  

Congrats to our top teams - Sheila Jefferson winning the tiebreaker to  take 1st, Force of One in 2nd, and Core in 3rd.  A special shoutout to our last place team - the strong and stable foundation on which we all can grow! - The Dominators.

QUIZ RECAP

The luck o' the Irish was with all of our teams tonight at Solano Brewing Company!  With green beer in hand, we tackled all manner of Irish themed trivia.  Tonight, we learned that Bram Stoker definitely wasn't on Facebook in the 1800s, that the coolest kids watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the 90's, and we ALL have our own terrible memories of drinking Fireball in college (never again...).  For my first time hosting at SBC, I certainly felt right at home.  I hope to raise a glass with all our players again soon!
