King Trivia Recap

Hey I’m Miles and I am the King Trivia Host at Teets bar located in Raleigh North Carolina. This was my second show, and this show was much different. It flowed better. I was more comfortable and the atmosphere there was just out of this world. The music was hitting just right, people were dancing, socializing and just having a good time. Trivia started a little later so we can have a bigger crowd. We started around 8:45 P.M. and many people were engaged in the game early. The first round was a pretty good round at the end of the round to see the scores. All the teams were neck and neck. The game was riding pretty smoothly. Teets had about 6 teams, and about 18 to 25 players playing so it was a packed house. Around the 3rd round there were some teams pulling away with a win and it was becoming pretty clear who was winning. So, I provided a 15 intermission for everybody to see if I can throw the top team off their game, and give the ones who were behind a winning chance. The status of that : FAILED! Lol. Team Toots did not let up. From the start of round 4 all the way to round 7 they were just killin it! Team Toots ended up with 55 points to win the game, BKourway who actually came in during the third round and came in second with 26 points which was pretty impressive, and in third Quiz in my pants. Everyone did an amazing job and I really enjoyed myself with this crowd!

First Game Show Hosting Event: King Trivia

Hi, my name is Miles! This was my first King Trivia game host event at Teets bar located in Raliegh, North Carolina. When I arrived the atmosphere was welcoming, and it had a little vibe going on with it. Good music was playing in the background to get the crowd going and relaxed. I started off by welcoming everyone in making them feel comfortable as possible with me. We started at 8 o’clock on the dot there were about 5 teams and about 28 players that joined: The Birthday B*tches, Team Day Drinkers, Spice Girls, The Jack Rabbits, Team Nate Lovers. The players were having a great time enjoying the great drinks that Teets provided. The most favorable rounds were the “Theme” round and the “Guess who” round. The “Guess who” round was pretty hilarious because no one knew that it was the same answer for the 5 questions. What was so special about this night was also there was a player that was celebrating her birthday at the bar so I made sure she got some prizes and was having a great time. My first king trivia hosting event was pretty fun, and it was also a great learning experience. The biggest takeaway from Tuesday evening was getting comfortable with the crowd and maintaining a relationship with the players!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a perfect night for trivia. Prizes galore were available to be won. We had 3 teams to start with Taco Thom coming in after work. Lots of laughs were had as the night went on. It was pretty even the first 2 rounds. It seems the less alcohol you drink the better you remember things, as our champion indicated. We had some dancing and sharing of prizes. Bates Battaglia got a lead in the 5th round and held onto it. He got his grand prize of two tickets to a Hurricanes game!
