Despite the horrendous traffic in LA and Orange Counties tonight, I'm so glad you all were able to make it out to TGI Fridays in Cerritos for appetizers, fruity cocktails, and totally-worth-it King Trivia prizes!

Broadway Booties started off strong, but were bested by almost anything sports-related. Music/theatre venues and Ariana/Beyonce albums tried pulling them through, but they lost the second place winnings to King Trivia virgins Titans, who DEFINITELY knew their sports. Not all hope was lost for Broadway Booties -- they still went home with a $10 gift card AND a free appetizer/dessert coupon for being... the first team... to write... the number... (picture included if, like the other two teams, you didn't get it either).

Mr. Poopybutthole reigned supreme once more, taking home $30 in . Although they were absolutely clueless on Ariana/Queen Bey albums, they were so far ahead thanks to Mary Poppins connections and "beating around the bush" themes that they didn't even break into a sweat.

There's no better way to beat the rain than with some TGIF appetizers, a cold beer, and a fun King Trivia game where everyone gets to go home a winner!

Mr. Poopybutthole had to work a little harder for their first place winnings and free appetizer/dessert coupon tonight, being up against King Trivia virgins Team Cerritos and I Am Da Best. Everyone knew their NFL teams, but not so much about the late great Tupac. And it was great to see each team with the advantage for at least one round -- I Am Da Best rocked their skyscraper cities, Team Cerritos "obliviated" everyone else on the witches/wizards round, and Mr. Poopybutthole clearly spent lots of time playing arcade and video games!

Jason was also a fantastic Quizmaster-in-Training, he can handle more heckling next time!

Sometimes, going along down this unpaved, bumpy road we call life, we come to find our biggest opponent is ourselves. I mean, usually that's not meant in a positive light, but that really benefitted Mr. Poopybutthole tonight!

They still had to work for their first place ranking, doing fantastic on every round. Still no double-down risks, though -- this is for their pride! Mrs. Poopybutthole even got to take home a free appetizer/dessert coupon for drawing the best portrait of my meowy four-legged son.

King Trivia is always so much more fun when you have more teams playing, so I hope to see EVERYONE participate for gift cards next week!
