About The Famous Bar

The Famous craft cocktail lounge is located in Glendale's historic Huntley-Evans building, directly across the street from the Americana at Brand. It follows an eclectic and rich pedigree of establishments that have called this building home in the last century, most notably the early Glendale landmark, The Famous Department Store. The Famous, true to its heritage, embraces the classic art of fine craft cocktail creation, invented in the United States in 1856, using bitters, juices, syrups, and infusions, prepared in-house using fresh ingredients from local markets and growers. Cocktails served at The Famous are identical to those served nearly 100 years ago when the building was constructed.

Because Jeopardy Won't Let Us Drink continued their determined march back to the King Trivia Tournament of Champions this week at The Famous on Brand in Glendale, by racking up 88 big points to take the in in a comeback.

They came back from behind It's Pronounced "GIF" who were all set to win but stumbled just a bit in Round 7. Though they played a fine game, the Jeopardy crew will pounce on any opportunity, and pounce they did! That's the kind of people they are - they're pouncers! (as a matter of fact, one of 'em has a cat named Pounce de Leon! I mean, come on!!)

In the meantime, we all know that King Trivia offers the hottest games in town, right!? And there's a new kid on the block! We've just launched an entirely new game called Survey Slam that is already attracting lots of enthusiastic attention.

You might wanna should check it out, because you KNOW that King Trivia is definitely the leading source of live pub entertainment anywhere, right? RIGHT! See ya next week.

Well THAT's for sure! Because Jeopardy Won't Let Us Drink were channeling their inner Julius Caesar this week at The Famous on Brand in Glendale. They came, they saw and they destroyed the comptition with a 94-point performance that bested the second place Blanches by a full 26 points!

If they keep this up, we're gonna take the suggestion made by the Bad News Barristers (who took third place, FYI) and make 'em play with a 25-point handicap like they do in golf!
