The Famous craft cocktail lounge is located in Glendale's historic Huntley-Evans building, directly across the street from the Americana at Brand. It follows an eclectic and rich pedigree of establishments that have called this building home in the last century, most notably the early Glendale landmark, The Famous Department Store.
Welcome to our second night of Survey Slam at The Famous! We had Pierre Delecto all ready to come play -- and they were joined by three other new teams at the bar!

We all loved the "you're offered the car of your dreams. however, the engine sounds exactly like a man screaming. do you accept?"
We also all agreed that Monopoly tears families apart -- but you guys believed that Chutes & Ladders, Settlers of Catan, and Scrabble would end in heated arguments, too.
As the game drew closer and closer by Round 7, every team was able to name 3-4 Leonardo DiCaprio movies that survey takers deemed to be Leo's best film. However, no one put Revenant! Which is hilarious because that's the one he actually won an Oscar for? None of the others! I guess if you guys were the Academy, he woulda won an Oscar a long time ago.

We had such a fantastic time kicking off the world premiere of the first-ever Survey Slam at The Famous!
As the World Series Game 6 played on screens behind us, the most exciting game was the one unfolding live, as five teams battled it out for the title of Survey Slam First-Ever Champion with David on the mic and his amazing Postmodern Jukebox tunes.
After starting the night with a three-way tie between Not Penny's Goat, Astros Girl, and We Want Free Beer!, it was We Want Free Beer! who began to creep, then pull on ahead.
However, after a successful five-question round in Round 5, earning three points apiece for their stellar knowledge of Random Opinions, Not Penny's Goat ran off with the lead and could not be caught.

Cuz this week at the Famous, I was a scaredy-cat. But oh wait I'm already one in real life so maybe that's not a costume. I'm like the 67% of very honest survey takers who admit to being scaredy-cats instead of scare seekers.
So awesome to train with pro David and also to see Tom and his daughter come out to play and dominate!
