QUIZ RECAP
A very festive trivia to close out 2018. It looked like we wouldn't have enough teams to get started on time, but in a holiday Miracle, everyone showed up all at once and we were on our way. It was a spirited match, with several late double or nothing pushes but perennial champions Ask My Balls take it again, winning first place and the traditional figgy pudding.

How many Ph.D.s does it take to dominate trivia? As it turns out, five. After weeks of taking a bad bounce in late rounds, The Drs. Are In turned in a command performance and aced their trivia final. There was some jockeying for the lead in some early rounds, with three lead changes, but once the learned ladies (and gent) of San Jose State got a hold of first place, they didn't let it go, finding the connection in round 5 almost immediately and doubling up. It was no small feat defeating past champions Ask My Balls, and Ladies & the Tramps, but the Doctors have officially established themselves as trivia royalty, and look to be a force to be reckoned with if they can keep this momentum alive.

QUIZ RECAP
- An absolute tour de force from Ask My Balls this week, who opened the game with 5, count 'em 5, perfect rounds in a row, WITH all possible double bonuses. The other teams weren't discouraged, though, stacking up points until, in Round 6, the champs slipped up and got the goose egg on an overconfident double-or-nothing. They still had a lead though, and in the end it was just too much to overcome. Shout out to the Drs. Are In, putting up a score that would have won outright most other weeks, but settling for silver this time.
