King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern celebrated Bob Dylan's birthday by welcoming four teams to the competition. Fun fact: four is the average number of intelligible words at a Bob Dylan concert.
Ike Did It (too soon?) began the evening with a successful Double Or Nothing in the General Knowledge round. Genetics took the lead with a perfect ten points in the Guess Who? round, but Ike Did It retook the lead after the Find the Connection round. The Three Stooges kept the game close with a strong eight points in Guess Who? The Drinking Round went to Team Roach who had more fun Bob Dylan receiving a Byrds royalty check.

Six teams trudged through snow, ice, wind, and hail to enjoy King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern. Hang on. I'm being told it was 80 degrees and sunny. But the enjoying King Trivia part is correct!
No Means No, Father Pat took the early lead with a successful Double Or Nothing in the General Knowledge round and never looked back. They and Ceviche were the only teams to decode the Find the Connection round, leading Ceviche to second place. Rebels with a Cause aced the Matching Round on the way to third place. They also won the Drinking Round by correctly guessing the weight of my banana (I used my next morning's breakfast for the round. Stop thinking like that!).

As the Lakers, NHL playoffs, and 1993 World Series played in the televisions, The Oaks Tavern hosted its own knowledge-sport event as eight teams took part in tonight's King Trivia.
The Valley Girls went home with the top prize after answering the Guess Who? Round on the eight-point clue. Aww, Shucks! had a remarkable grasp of the Matching Round's subject of British slang and finished second. After losing a tiebreaker last time, Ceviche took sole possession of third place this week.
I apologize for not anointing our teams with sacred oils behind a screen. I'm afraid King Charles III used it all. Next coronation, I promise!
