The Oaks Tavern was positively packed with King Trivia players tonight. Ten teams came together in peace, harmony, and extreme trivia battle!

The lead changed more times than a trendy pop-up restaurant's appetizer menu. The first place prize went to Beers For Queers. A mere two points behind were Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth in second.

Third place was decided by The Tiebreaker! The D Team displayed a superior Chicago sports knowledge and won the prize. The Drinking Round was won by Propane who correctly guessed what Spotify Wrapped considered my most played trivia playlist song of the year. (It was "Bye Bye Bye.")

A World Cup-concurrent evening of King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern saw five countries (trivia teams) compete for a chance to be soccer champions of the entire globe (win a The Oaks gift certificate).

Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth scored the most goals (came in first place in King Trivia). Kim Makes Pizzas She Really Does converted several corner kicks (came in second in King Trivia). Genetics did the best job of pretending to be injured when they really just wanted to rest for a moment (won the Drinking Round).

Gobble freakin' gobble! Thanksgiving Eve King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern saw six teams compete. And not a Turkey among them!

Kim Makes Pizza She Really Does won the delicious stuffing that is first place. The mashed potatoes with gravy (second place) was won by Rockford Peaches and Sir Digby Chicken Caesar took home the tamales (third). The unlimited eggnog needed to deal with fifth cousin Jerry (The Drinking Round) went to Cats on TV!
