King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern was an absolute horse race tonight! Post time was 7:30pm and Hills Like Pink Elephants came out of the gate fast, getting all six correct in the General Knowledge round. But Crucial Taunt took the lead in the final furlong with a successful Double Or Nothing in the Matching Round, leading to a win. Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth finished in place with Ceviche in show.
Dumb and Dumber went to the trough in the Drinking Round.

It was 106 degrees Fahrenheit outside of The Oaks Tavern but the King Trivia inside was even hotter. Hot in a very comfortable, air conditioned way. With drinks. And food. Just like the desert.
Baby Fish Mouth led for most of the night, especially at the very important part - the end when the prizes were awarded. Dingleberry Farms used a successful Double Or Nothing in the Matching Round to take second place. Two points separated third and fifth place after Round 6 and that didn't change when those three teams each scored four points in the Final Round, sending Doms Family into third place.
Let's all stand outside at noon and enjoy a nice hot chocolate, then reconvene next week for more King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern.

Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth and These Hoes took home the top two prizes but a lake-based Tiebreaker was needed. Drink Pineapple Juice Because OJ Might Kill You knew more about Lake Superior than Genetics, earning third place.
