Tonight's Round 3 included a question about mixed drinks. Here's another one - what drink is made of one part King Trivia and one part The Oaks Tavern? A funtini!

The competition was so tight, every team was in the running for first place until the final scores were announced. Ty and I: Sounds Like a Drug rode a Round 1 Double Or Nothing to first place. Moishe Madness in second place after a very strong Final Round. A tiebreaker was needed to determine third place and it was won by Cumquats who put their knowledge of American dietary habits to fine use. Harrington's Chest Hair won the Drinking Round from the Land Down Under.

See you all next week when, if you add some olive juice to your King Trivia and The Oaks Tavern, you'll get a dirty funtini.

Call me Fred because I said "Right!" so many times to the teams playing King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern. Ten teams playing meant 60 answers were submitted in Round 1 and 55 were correct! 
The smarts continued to flow as freely as the beer. After a successful Double Or Nothing in Round 6, Aloha took the lead and never looked back. Cameron's Clothes came in second and Maverick Dies at the End survived any anger directed at their possibly-a-spoiler team name to finish in third place. Sneaky Rafikis won the  music of now Drinking Round.

Are The Oaks Tavern's King Trivia teams too sexy for their shirts? You will only know for sure if you play next Wednesday at 7:30pm.

Hey there! What's your sign? My sign is King Trivia with The Oaks Tavern rising. Is it a shock that a Los Angeles trivia crowd aced the Zodiac Round?

This Libra Quizmaster had a blast as eight teams competed for King Trivia. Who Wants to Be a Minionaire came out on top after getting every answer correct in three of the rounds. Cumquats scored 29 points in the final two rounds on the way to second place. Keep My Team Name Out Ya Fuckin' Mouth recovered from unsuccessful Double Or Nothings in the first two rounds to finish in third.

Cumquats also won the Paul McCartney's 80th birthday-themed Drinking Round.

My astrologer predicts more King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern next Wednesday.
