QUIZ RECAP

We has a simply stupendous night of King Trivia at The Oaks. The trivia was hot, the beer was cold, and my shoes were very clean.

Awesome Sauced were perfect through the initial six rounds on the way to an impressive win.

Where Is the Fire? never let up and finished in a very strong second place. 

Not only did The Lakers win the coveted third place prize, they also aced the drinking round, recognizing tonight's backwards song as "California Dreamin'" by The Mamas & The Papas.

Kudos to Calzones, Bad Babies, and The Turtles as well - in the Picture Round, all six teams combined for only one incorrect answer. As Dostoyevsky wrote in The Brothers Karamazov, "That's some great frickin' trivia playing, Boris!"

80S MOVIES, MUSIC AND MORE THEMED EVENT AT THE OAKS RECAP

Today was a fun and competitive game. 

No one doubled Rounds 1 and 2. 

Euro Cup Winners doubled Round 3, propelling them ahead of the rest. However, everyone got all the questions right, and all the teams should have doubled. 

Round 5 was an upset for most teams. 3 teams doubled unsuccessfully - only 1 Man Army didn't double and therefore got points that round. 

Round 6 and 7 were pretty tricky, so no doubles happened. 

Ultimately, Euro Cup Winners took the win followed by Vanilli Oates Duran in 2nd place.
