DISNEY THEMED EVENT AT THE OAKS RECAP

Everyone was playing in their Disney gear today, including me! 

Round 1 saw no doubles, but in Round 2 Ladies Need a Tramp, Vegas High Rollers, and Truffle Hogs doubled successfully. 

Round 3 was a little tricky for people, because no one doubled. 

For the drinking round, I read off Disney quotes. Truffle Hogs won by guessing the most right! We spun the wheel and they ended up winning Jager Bombs! 

Round 5 saw no doubles, but in Round 6 EVERYONE doubled! 

In Round 7, Ladies Need a Tramp clinched the lead, with Truffle Hogs and Vegas High Rollers in 2nd and 3rd place.

A hot night of King Trivia at The Oaks Tavern tonight thanks to the intense competition and an outside temperature of 97 degrees Fahrenheit at game time.

There were several lead changes throughout the evening. People say I'm suck took the early lead after a successful Double Or Nothing in Round 1. The Real Housewives of Calle Ocho claimed the top spot thanks to their knowledge of classic paintings in Round 2. But Where Is the Fire? grabbed the final lead with successful Doubles in Rounds 5 and 6, hanging on even after four teams earned the full 20 points in Round 7.

Quiz in my pants won the Drinking Round by coming closest to guessing the DVD in my bag was Bridesmaids (2011).

A boisterous night of King Trivia filled the rarefied air of The Oaks Tavern in Sherman Oaks on the best Wednesday since last Wednesday.

Quiz in my pants finished strongly, falling one point short of the third place prize. Successfully doubled down took third place, even though they twice unsuccessfully doubled down.

The Drinking Round needed two tiebreakers after Dilly dilly and Where Is the Fire? both knew the series of tv theme songs were from 1985 and both identified two of the six songs. It came down to the universal question, "Where was your quizmaster's wife born?" Dilly dilly were geographically closest to Chicago with Minneapolis defeating Buffalo.
