One fateful day three decades ago, five boys picked up a game of handball during school recess on a Fountain Valley playground. They grew up together, became life-long friends and pursued their own ambitions. But they shared a deep love for their hometown and dreamed of one day opening a restaurant together where they could share good food, good drinks and reminisce about good times. The Recess Room is their childhood dream come to life.

It was another fun pre holiday participation night for our loyal teams. Thank you for your creativity from Wayne's World enactment by Jerry and Evelyn to reigning #1 winner Highway Star Kiet (just got his 22nd win!) to Implication's cute duo in a retro  basketball uniform and Minnie Mouse plus birthday boy Bryan wearing his silver bday tiara. 

We will miss the spooky decorations comes November but knowing the Recess Room there will be holiday decor soon. We encourage all the teams to weekly bring new players for this Friendsgiving month and be creative with December with Wednesday Holisay cookie exchange, Secret Santa and even a white elephant exchange besides the beloved Ugly but Gorgeous Holiday sweater night.

Such a fun time of the year at the Recess Room with all the decorations! Next Wednesday please come in costume for a Howling great time! Note our fun lobby pictures.

Congratulations to Keit for his 21st straight week in a row WIN for 1st place. Close call for round  5 when one incorrect answer during the Find The Connection plus thinking he had all the right answers = 0 oh no!!! The frat week is one heck of a rush week that might feel like h-e-double toothpick but it is RUSH week! 

Ultimate Warrior's Giancarlo  has a special thing happening this Friday with the release of Frontier Records new video for Guns N Roses that he wrote the script and produced which features his teenage daughter in. 

Welcome back to Ava in the bar. One of the teams here is called Ava's Minions as Ava played Cupid to introduce two patrons together and now they are engaged!  Bryan and Yvonne tease that they could have their reception here by using up all their winning prize gift cards!

Congratulations to Keit for a perfect game with a perfect score where he doubled on all the rounds that allow it. It is his 20th straight win in a row!!!

Highway Star had close competition for a few rounds with two other longtime teams. Congratulations to 2nd place Thirsty Pretzel and 3rd place Implication. Welcome back to Liz and Ari of the revised team name of "Go Dodgers". Welcome to new team here "Double A7" who had to exit by the 4th row. We understand. Do comeback. 

Thank you to Keit for playing the Canadian National Anthem several times during the evening in honor of my post bday celebration. Everyone enjoyed the treats of candy and kids party favors especially the glow in the dark bracelets plus the light prisms and tabletop spinners. Roy even joined the Implication team. 

The 7 rounds were a lot of fun.
