QUIZ RECAP

We had a really great time at Tuesday trivia in Blue Lake! A new team joined our regulars and battled right up to the end. It was neck and neck right up to the end, with first and second place never more than 2 points away from each other. But, the Gruesome Twosome had an amazing final round to pull ahead and beat Brainivia, who are the same folks as the Dead Beats - maybe they would have won if they hadn't changed their name - we'll probably never know. More spectacular quizzing next week - come down and join the fun!

QUIZ RECAP

We had some spectacular quizzing in Blue Lake! Team Rat rolled deep and played strong from start to finish. Team MMI kept up throughout the quiz under the power of just a single brain. The Dead Beats predictably started slow, but by the end of the third round they were only three points behind the two leaders - and then Samuel Adams flipped-turned the whole game upside down. After all the other teams lost a point, the Dead Beats patiently stalked their prey and claimed the lead by correctly naming the founding father that escaped the other teams.

Both Team Rat and MMI bravely continued to quiz, undaunted after stumbling, their mighty answers flying forth. At the end of the sixth round, Dead Beats and Rat were tied for first, and MMI was right behind them. But true to form, the Dead Beats pulled out the win in the end by knowing every state that borders Pennsylvania.

It was a thrilling match and it was up for grabs right up to the end. Next week will be even more exciting, more thrilling, with prizes more fabulous than ever. (my attorney has informed me that the prizes will be exactly the same, and claims to the contrary are false.)

We had a really great time in Blue Lake on Tuesday! The Philistines were in control of the game from the beginning, but almost everyone got the "Guess What" answer wrong which allowed the Dead Beats to catch up at the end of round 4. It seemed like it was anyone's game until the Philistines had a perfect 6th round and sealed the win! Can't wait for next week - be ready Blue Lake!!
