Another Monday, Another Monday Night Trivia game at The Whiskey Lounge at Miro! This week, we were joined by the Steelers of Pittsburgh and the Bengals of Cincinnati in an epic MNF showdown (not a big fan of the two 0-3 teams on Monday night personally, but until King Trivia pays me enough to buy the NFL, there is nothing I can do about this). Joining our Monday Night Football teams were "Tyler + JuJu = 45 Points" and the "Acumen All-Stars" in what was sure to be a tough showdown.
Tyler + Juju (Also known as Zero Days Sober) took an early lead and did not look like they could be stopped. BUT, as we all know from my fantasy lineup this year, nothing is EVER a sure thing. The Acumen All-Stars hit a great double-down in round 6 but bring it to a two point game, and managed to hold-on during our last round for a final score of 50-51. Congrats to what was the closest game witnessed at The Whiskey Lounge in the history of Trivia!

Monday Night Trivia at The Whiskey Lounge! An exciting time to be alive! Joining the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets on Monday Night Football were our three legendary teams: Rising Sun, Zero Days Sober (our returning 1st place team from last week!), and La Combi Completa! This game included a first for Quizmaster Dan at Whiskey Lounge; no double downs! Those devious deviants at King Trivia threw their best questions at our teams, but it still ended up a hard fought battle.
Rising Sun took an early lead and could not be stopped. Originally skeptical about playing a game of trivia, our rag-tag team answered the call and finished with a whopping 46 points, narrowly edging out Zero Days Sober (with 42 points) for 1st place and our grand prize, 30 dollars at Whiskey Lounge. Zero Days Sober, though, still went home with our secondary prize of 20 dollars, which brings their two week earnings total to 50 dollars.
Life hits hard, as Trevor Siemian can vouch for, but not for all of our contestants at Monday Night Trivia. The drinks are flowing, the music (and MNF) is bumping, and there's always a good time to be had at 6:00PM(ish) every Monday! Join us next time.

A brutal one-on-one battle! A dastardly head-to-head duel! A fierce competition that can only be described as a chess match for the ages! The NoGo's, while originally there to see if their Houston Texans could pull out a win against the New Orleans Saints, found themselves unable to say no to a Monday night game of Trivia at The Whiskey Lounge! The "OK, Cool. Hook 'Em's" came ready to play, accepting the challenge of the NoGo's and setting the stage for an epic confrontation.
With mic in hand, Quizmaster Dan facilitated an intense quiz off with the two teams. A couple of early double-down's had the OCHE's take a commanding lead. Some sports related questions saved our NoGo's in the middle rounds, but ultimately, it was OCHE's knowledge of Jack Nicholson movies that proved the deciding factor. The tension was palpable, but in the end, only one team can claim the highly sought after First Place!
However, both teams fought valiantly, and as such, both teams walked away with prizes! Will the NoGo's be back for next week's Monday Night Football/Trivia Combo? Will the OK, Cool. Hook 'Ems be back to keep their title? Find out next week, 6:00PM, at The Whiskey Lounge!
