QUIZ RECAP

It was an unexpectedly sunny Sunday (even though the forecast was rain).

No one doubled the first round, but Michael Cohenoscopy, Yer a Quizard 'Arry, and The Meow Vermillion all doubled the 2nd...a clear foreshadow of who the top teams would be.

Yer a Quizard 'Arry was in the lead for most of the game up until Round 6 when Michael Cohenoscopy doubled and pulled ahead. Another successful double in Round 7 solidified their first place position.

For the drinking round, I had them make as many words as they could out of the name Alexander Graham Bell (it was his birthday March 3 in 1847). Michael Cohenoscopy also won that as well!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a fairly close game for the most part, with most of the teams switching off who was in the lead. In the end, Group Blind Date won the game against Yer a Quizard 'Arry in a tie-breaker. The question was how tall in centimeters a certain athlete was (203 cm) and Group Blind Date did some amazing math conversions (which they actually showed on paper) to come up with the answer of 202.5.

In honor of the Oscars, I had the teams list as many Best Picture winners in a minute and a half as they could think of. There was a tie between You're a Quizard, 'Arry and Human Targets, but Human Targets deferred to the other team since they weren't drinking. What sportsmanship!

I was a last minute sub, at I am glad I accepted! The teams here are pros. I am familiar with the Woodman and I liked how their happy hour went into effect during the game. The teams seemed to like me as a host as well. The drinking round we did 10 dad jokes.
