QUIZ RECAP

The competition was fierce and the score changes frequent tonight at Three Weavers for King Trivia!

We kicked off with 12 teams going into round 1, our general knowledge round. Players got educated on some great films in round 2 as they identified the movie from the teacher shown in the 8 photos in our picture round.

Round 3 had us all celebrating our California Love as teams answered questions all about our great state of California, and players did great guessing the famous fictional person we were looking for in round 4, our Guess Who round.

Teams did great (and gave me some very fun answers) in round number 5 as they tried to find the connection, and round number 6 really tested their vocabulary as they matched the definition to the word with the prefix "pen".

All evening long, the competition went back and forth, but Quiz Me Baby One More Time had a strong lead going into our final round 7, where players had to identify the 11 chemical elements that are a gas at room temperature. Ultimately, they took home the W with TheOtherBarWasFull and Quizzed in my Pants hot on their heels!

A wildly fun night with some clever, creative teams at King Trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

The weather was warm, the beer was cold, and the trivia was ridiculously fun at Three Weavers tonight!

Eight teams absolutely nailed our general knowledge round, round 1, and did a great job identifying the Batman actor in round 2, our picture round (where one team really seized onto the answer Michael Keaton).

Round 3 had teams nautical and nostalgic as players answered questions about sailing vessels and the show Friends, and they did great in our Guess Who round, identifying the famous Canadian Deadpool actor we all know and love.

The amusing answers poured in during round 5 as teams found the connection, and then they did a phenomenal job in round 6 matching the author to their country of origin.

The competition was fierce all night, with Quiz Me Baby One More Time taking the early lead. But it started to get a little shaken up going into our seventh and final round! Teams had to identify members of the Fellowship of the Ring (with some absolutely hilarious answers and great movie quotes), and the four NFL teams that have never been to the Super Bowl.

It was neck and neck, but ultimately The Cunning Stunts pulled out the win!

The beer was cold and the competition was hot at Three Weavers for King Trivia tonight!

Six teams, both returning and new, kicked off our general knowledge round, and did a great job "blowing the cover" of 8 "agents" for our picture round in round 2.

Round 3 had teams getting literary and ridiculous with a round about Jane Austen novels and Adam Sandler movies (where I had the pleasure of reciting many a movie quote), and players did a great job identifying the famous person in round 4, our Guess Who round!

Teams nailed the connection between the first nine answers for round 5, our Find the Connection round, and got especially animated when they had to match the cartoon vehicle to the character who drives it in round 6.

Returning champs Quiz Me Baby One More Time took the lead early and held onto it going into our final round, where players had to name the next 10 royals in line for the British throne. Ultimately, they took home the win, but we had a great time with the tiebreaker question between the tied second place teams!

It was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces, and we certainly had a lot of fun with the answers. Can't wait for next week!
