Thunderbird was all about King Trivia tonight with 13 teams competing for FIRST place, $30 in Thunderbird chips, and bragging rights to say they were the MOST SMARTEST!

"Once Upon A Time in Culver City," "Too Many Meth Dates," and "What's Eating Gilbert Gottfried" ALL scored the max amount of point this round, 14, when they doubled their points by answering ALL the questions correctly AND their teams are registered at KingTrivia.com snagging an additional 2 points. "Once Upon A Time in Culver City" and "Too Many Meth Dates" ended up BUSTING in Round 2 when they didn't answer all of the questions correctly and they went for the Double or Nothing." Big shoutout to "Boss Bitch and Her Peeps." It was their first night of King Trivia and they played their hearts out the whole night. But they also tried to Double their score in Round 2 and ended up busting when they didn't get them all right. "Fuck Sport America" also played with a ton of passion. Wanted to make sure they got a notice on this recap. They sat next to me and I can honestly say, they had fun and really cared. They also won the Drinking Round along with "Hip Hingers" both teams kept tying so we let them both grab some free shots! "Scott's Tots" played a great game even doubling their points in Round 2. "What's Eating Gilbert Gottfried" DOUBLED their score in Round 2 grabbing the MAX amount of points at the end of that round for the game with 30! They maintained their lead the whole game especially when they guessed our Guess Who Round on the 10 point clue! They closed out the night in FIRST place and $30 in Thunderbird chips for their next Thunderbird visit. "Yaassss Queens" not only came in SECOND but they were also the ANSWER for our Facebook/Instagram Question of the Day!! #meta AAAANNNNDDDD they also snagged $20 in Thunderbird chips for their next Thunderbird visit. Coming in THIRD was a very competitive and awesome team, "Frank's Little Beauties!" They received $10 in Thunderbird chips on their next Thunderbird visit.

''Twas another night of exciting King Trivia at Thunderbird with 14 teams competing for FIRST place and $30 in Thunderbird chips.
We had a few returning teams who gained two points in Round 1 for having their team registered at KingTrivia.com. Starting off strong was "Scott's Tots," "Puppies in Paradise," and "Dos Dan Mas Mitchell" all scoring 6 points. "Jennings in Training" was only behind by one point with 5 points at the end of Round 1. They did, however, score 6 points in Round 6 knocking them up to a total of 11 points and in second place. "Puppies in Paradise" took the lead when they gained 7 points moving them up to 13 points. "Dos Dan Mas Mitchell" gained 0 on their score in Round 2 when they busted on one answer after they went for the Double or Nothing. But they quickly redeemed themselves in Round 3, DOUBLING their score when they doubled down on Doubling or Nothinging. 😀 "T.H.EM." "Puppies in Paradise" "2 Smart Chicas and Ricky" and "Dos Dan Mas Mitchell" all guessed the "Guess What?" on the 8 point clue. This moved "Two Smart Chicas" into a strong position with 24 points. "Jimmy's Gizzard" joined the game in Round 3 and proved to be a team to watch out for when they ALSO Guessed What? on the 8 point clue. And they ALSO won the Drinking Round! Special shoutouts to "Pterygoids" "National Champs" and "#Simo" for playing with tons of passion. They may not have placed first, second, or third tonight but they certainly won my heart. FIRST place needed a tie breaker between "2 Smart Chicas" and "Puppies in Paradise" both ended with 50 points! "Two Smart Chicas" came the closest to our tie breaking questioning coming out on top in FIRST place and $30 in chips towards their next visit to Thunderbird. "Puppies in Paradise" came in SECOND and got $20 in Thunderbird chips to be used on their next visit. And "Dos Dan Mas Mitchell" came in THIRD place and received $10 in Thunderbird chips for their next visit. It was another wild and FUNtastic game of King Trivia at Thunderbird on Sunday night. We stared the game an hour later due to some football shenanigans going on. Something about playoff games? I don't know because we all know Sundays at Thunderbird were really made for King Trivia! 😉

13 teams competed for 1st place and $30 in chips for their next visit to Thunderbird! "8PM Is the New 7PM" started out the game strong doubling their score when they doubled or nothing their round and did, in fact, answer all their answers correctly. But "Dan Mitchell Says Good Day, Sir" won the round by doubling their points AND getting an extra 2 points for having their team registration number from this very website. #meta "Girthquake," "Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer" and "Choncago Balls" were all tied for third place by the end of Round 1. But by Round 2, "Girthquake" doubled their points allowing them to tie with "8PM Is the New 7PM" "Le Tigres" proved they were a team of wits in Round 3, when they doubled their points. "Dan Mitchell Says Good Day, Sir" also doubled their points while "8PM Is The New 7PM" gained two additional points to their score for having their team number. "Oops I Think Georgie Farted" guessed our Famous Person in Round 4 on the 10 point clue! And they DOUBLED their score in Round 5. But they busted on Rounds 6 and 7 when they tried to double or nothing again. I don't blame them. By this point in the game the only way they could catch up was to try and double their points. They played with honor, dignity, and class. "Alexia and Colleen" joined the game a few rounds in and actually crushed many of our questions not only ending the evening with an impressive 30 points but they also won the Drinking Round when they knew the correct year and closest month to the release of "Caddyshack."
This evening's game ended with "Le Tigres" in THIRD place and $10 in Thunderbird chips "8PM Is The New 7PM" snagging SECOND place by only one point ahead of "Le Tigres." They also received $20 in Thunderbird chips! Coming in FIRST place with a healthy lead was "Dan Mitchell Says Good Day, Sir." Their lead was made possible when they doubled their points in Round 6, our handout round, matching all the answers perfectly.
