Thunderbird had another packed night of King Trivia mania! 13 teams and 59 people competed to see who would go home with $30 in Thunderbird chips as tonight's most smartest.
"Wild Hogz," "Dan Mitchell's Ugly Christmas Sweater," "Christmas Carol Brady," and "Emily and the Heartbreakers" all doubled their points in Round 2 when they went for the Double or Nothing. "Dos Smart Chicas" doubled their points in Round 3. "I'm Dating My Former Boss" had one of my favorite King Trivia names...ever. I loved the Christmas sweaters one of my favorite regular teams, "Sorry the Baby Is Crying," wore AND the babies they brought to the game. Check out their sweaters and the adorable little ones in the picture section of this recap. These fellas also won the drinking round. Don't worry, the babies didn't drink. ...much. 😉

"Apt 104" came late and started playing in Round 2. But this impressive group still placed THIRD after losing the tie breaking question to "Wild Hogz" who came in SECOND. "Apt 104" also received $10 in chips towards their next Thunderbird's visit and "Wild Hogz" won $20 in chips

And coming in FIRST place and snagging those $30 Thunderbird chips was the glorious, magnificent, and really smart, "Dan Mitchell's Ugly Christmas" sweater!!

14 teams battled their wits to see who would reign as King Trivia Champ and go home with $30 in chips towards their next visit to Thunderbird!

"I Quiz in Your General Direction" AND "Dick Mountain" doubled their scores in Round 2. "The Bluebells" won the Drinking Round. "You Son of a Bitch, I'm In" racked up some nice points and by Round 4, they were in third place. "Mr. Holiday Hank" guessed the famous person in Round 5 on the 8 point clue beating out all other teams on that round.
"You Son of a Bitch, I'm In" ended the evening in THIRD place and $10 in chips towards their next visit to Thunderbird.
"Diamond Dan Mitchell" came up from behind with a wicked double on Round 6 skyrocketing them to SECOND place and $20 in chips to their next Thunderbird's visit.
"I Quiz in Your General Direction" stayed strong throughout the entire game ending in FIRST place!

13 teams competed at Thunderbird to see who would go home in FIRST place as the most smartest along with $30 in chips towards their next visit to Thunderbird. It was a jammed packed game of questions and answers with some regular favorites returning to play with some new teams joinin' in on the fun.
Special shoutouts to "United Nations," "Team Drew," and "Drugs Are Bad, m'k?" for all the fun they added to the game. "Almost Third" won the Drinking Round! "Dan Mitchell's Mom Has Got It Going On" almost placed but was off by only one point!
THIRD place and $10 in chips towards their next visit at Thunderbird went to "Panty Smart Suits." These lovely ladies gave all the teams a run for their money.
It's always nice to see "Cardinal Rosenberg," especially when they place. And that they did in SECOND place and $20 in chips towards their next visit to Thunderbird!
FIRST place went to two members of one of our regular favorite teams, "Two Jive Turkeys." Their other teammates are going to have to prove their worth when they come back to play after the Thanksgiving holiday. 😉 Thanks to the bartenders and staff at Thunderbird for keeping the food and booze flowing.
