QUIZ RECAP

It was a loud crowd at tonight's exciting game of King Trivia at Trademark Brewing! And it truly was anyone's game for a long time, as evidenced by the universal sweep of the Guess What round, featuring a national monument everyone correctly guessed 2 clues early. Each team hardly ever had too great of a point advantage over the next, until round 5. Although nearly all teams found the connection, it was this round when Soap and the Bubbles successfully went double or nothing, shooting up to 1st place where they reigned supreme for the rest of the game. That didn't stop them from fumbling in the TV/movie made up words round, proving that tonight's players need to brush up on their pop culture references. After much podium shuffling, TS89 and Mr & Mrs Slut ended tonight's game in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Although the 4th place is Sorry they're late, they managed to land right in the middle of the scoreboard. The Real HouseKnives didn't rank so highly, although they did rank number 1 when it came to this quizmaster's favorite team name. Everyone played an excellent game, and there were plenty of smiles and cheers to go with!

Some real doozies were thrown at tonight's King Trivia teams here at Trademark Brewing! Although tonight's teams managed to nail a solid amount of round 5's questions, they all fell just short of finding the connection between those 9 answers. Movies seemed to be more players' fortes, with several teams enjoying success in the photo round. The scoreboard shuffled all through the night while the Dim Bulbs triumphed over the other 7 teams, maintaining an impressive 1st place winstreak throughout the game! 2nd place was rightfully earned by Quizzy Osbourne, a fitting tribute to the dearly departed Prince of Darkness. Franketts, coolgirl, and Nutter & Neese all stayed near each other points-wise, keeping tonight's game a close one!
