Four passionate teams arrived for King Trivia Night at Uptown Garage in Akeney, IA. Three teams returned to seek to unseat champions, Corn Mittens. Three of the four teams played their 'Double or Nothing' in the first roud and that set the pace! As the game progressed, we got to meet our fantastic bartenders while they ensured participants were enjoying beverages. As the game moved on, Corn Mittens remainted ahead, with Alternative Facts only four points behind. But, in the end, Corn Mittens retains their championship for a second week in a row! Be sure to come out next Wednesday to join us and try to unseat Corn Mittens!

Another exciting night of King Trivia saw the return of three teams, including defending champions--Corn Mittens. The night included a back and forth between newcomers Sister Sisters and Corn Mittens. But at the 5th Round, Sister Sisters saw their championship hopes diminish as Craft Beer Girls took second place. And then, after the Final Round... we had a tie! A silence and excitment filled the room, with both Corn Mittens and Craft Beer Girls playing for the championship, it was Corn Mittens who responded to the question to claim this week's championship!

Overall, it was a fun night with a lot of movement on the leaderboard and a really energized Thanksgiving-Eve Quiz Night making for an exciting finale and a tie breaker at the end, funny the last question was about an arcade in Ottumwa, IA about an hour and a half southeast of where we were, so it was neat to see questions like that. Overall, a good night, fun enjoyed by all.
