For this special event Wormtown only had one team playing, The Dogmatics. Two wonderful guys who really knew their stuff! Throughout the game they would make 80's puns and get really excited when certain songs would come on the speaker. Their best round was Find The Connection where they played double or nothing and ended up doubling their score. Though they had no competitors they were really into it and a joy to host for!

QUIZ RECAP
Wormtown was busy this week! Of the four groups participating two of them consisted of six players each, so the tables that were filled were actually completely filled! Though our 80's themed event isn't until Saturday we had some 80's music on to set the mood, then when I announced our themed event people seemed really interested as I could see them jamming to some Whitesnake as they excitedly looked at their friends. The demographic of the event was diverse but the questions appealed to everyone, from college kids to retired folk. The favorite round of the night happened to be round three, I even got an interesting remark when asking about Hugh Hefner's divorce where one woman gasped, threw her hands up, and said "I'm still upset about that!". It was a great time and I'm excited to go back on Saturday!

QUIZ RECAP
Great turnout for a first show at Wormtown in Worcester, MA! Most of the tables were filled and everyone seemed to have a blast! The staff there was wonderful and even had their own team for the event. The teams were also really diverse ranging from a one man show, to a group of five really enthusiastic friends. The venue had a great atmosphere and everyone was very laid back which lead to a very fun game. The groups were especially excited with the Princess Bride theme in round three. I could hear screeches from the tables with, "Ooh ooh I know this one!!" which is a great thing to hear. It was a lovely time and I can't wait to see what happens next week!
