A great holiday night here at Wormtown. Right out the gate Third wheel pulled into the lead as the only successful double down in round one. In round three the Belugas double downed and over took them in first. They were able to hold on to the lead for the rest of the game. Son of a Nutcracker slowly climbed the rankings. And in round six they got all the answers right but chose not to double down and that put them comfortably in second place with the Dogmatics and Third Wheel following in third and fourth respectively. Rounds two, six and seven were a challenge for our teams tonight but they had a blast giving fun answers anyway!

What a wonderful night at Wormtown! We had some new faces bring the competition. TeixMex had an early lead but dropped to third in round three. We Love Monster Trucks over took both TeixMex and our reigning winners the Belugas in round three with a successful double down. Those two teams had some back and forth for first and second. It looked like We Love Monster Trucks would get the win with their successful double down in round six. But they were one away from getting all the Love Actually cast, and that gave a chance for Belugas to double down and keep the crown.

A fun night at Wormtown Worcester. The snowy weather didn’t stop the teams from showing up to play tonight. The drinking round brought lots of fun Haikus. But the highlight of the night was we had our first ever tie for first place! Woody 4 packaging guessed roughly 30,000 over the actual answer so Belugas pulled the lead once again.
