In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
King Trivia operates on three simple rules, the third of which is "The Quizmaster is Always Right." America, however, is a democracy, and today was the day on which we celebrated it! ...By voting! The Democrats took the House, the Republicans kept the Senate, and The Bad Explainers took home a first-place win! (Don't feel too bad, Brad. You're in the same boat as Beto.)

A cool 50 players turned out tonight for one of Angel City's biggest trivia nights in weeks! One of our most challenging guess-who rounds in a long while, but nothing our frontrunner teams couldn't handle! Tired & Stupid did not live up to their names, and took home a well-deserved win. (Extra-special props to them for being the only team to successfully double down on round 6. Not the only team to double down... just the only one to successfully do it.)

Attendance picked up again this week and the Angel City crowd was in bright spirits! That third clue was a lock for the guess-who round, and the game was fraught with many a well-considered answer and many a tragically forgotten factoid. Things were close til the end.
