QUIZ RECAP

You know what’s better than celebrating a human’s birthday at trivia?  Celebrating a dog’s birthday!  We were blessed with boops from the birthday snoot of Bogey, Campus Brewing’s dog mascot.  He’s cute, he’s cuddly, and he’s the best boy!  Oh yeah…and trivia was good, too 😉

I loved hosting this particular quiz, because a lot of the questions allowed me to share more weird facts from the history books of Quizmaster Ashleigh.  Like the fact that I, for some unexplained reason, had a Creed poster on my wall during elementary school.  Or that I was unironically addicted to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in college.  I hope that everyone who plays trivia with me leaves knowing that it’s OK to let their freak flag fly…we all have been into some questionable stuff in our days. No judgment here.

With a technicality score on the last question, newcomers Andy’s Late took first place tonight, with regulars Life of the Donner Party and Cheddar Traditional taking second and third.

QUIZ RECAP

Every week, it feels like our ragtag group of trivia regulars get to know each other a little better.  This week, we learned that I'm the outlier for hating Beastie Boys, but that we agree on hating Sublime.  We've learned not to hate Round 5 as much (It's hard! But rewarding!), and that we're all bigger movie buffs than we'd like to admit.  We're a happy bunch - you should join us on Trivia Tuesday!

Tonight, Working On It took first place, David Bowie's 3rd Nipple took second, and Cheddar Tradicional took third.  This week, we'll all go home, eat a bunch of turkey, and come back next week to do it again. I hope to see you then 🙂

QUIZ RECAP

Holy moly - what a fun night!  It's been a minute since we had a full house at Campus, and it was SO nice to see almost every table taken up by both new and returning teams.  My favorite comment of the evening came from newcomers Infrastructure Week - "We were just looking for a place to grab a beer...we didn't even know this place existed!"  Heck yeah, buddy!  Tell your friends that Trivia Tuesday at Campus is the place to be!

We had a great quiz and some intense ups and downs with teams moving in and out of the winner's circle all night.  We learned that no one watches cable TV anymore, anyone who puts black licorice in ice cream deserves to be shunned, and dogs - while fun to pet - make terrible quizmaster cohosts.
