Nice comfortable night on the veranda at Chuys for King Trivia.

Box Full of Puppies jumped out with a good double in round 1, faltered in round 2, then settled in for battle the rest of the way.

Dave\'s not Hear (DNH) was steady at the start and passed Puppies in round 4.

Don't Panic was also steady through round 3 and faltered badly in round 4, before taking off in rounds 5 & 6.

Successful doubles in round 5 separated Panic & DNH from the pack. However, another good double for Panic pushed them ahead of DNH and they maintained that lead until the end.

Puppies was solid to the end, never being tested by the remainder of the pack, finishing in a comfortable 3rd.

Round 7 was tough on everybody, but that being so, the leaders were able to remain pat. Congrats to Don't Panic on their 1 st Place finish.

Team "Box Full Of Puppies" doubled down in the first round, never looked back, and earned a 15 point victory last night at Chuy's, Simi Valley. Team "We Like It Down Under" finished in second place with 42 points and team "Dave's Not Hear" rounded out the top three.

Team "Don't Panic" mustered up (or judging by the picture above, mustard up?) the competition and earned a six point victory last night at Chuy's, Simi Valley. Team "Trainwreck" finished in second place with 45 points and team "Box Full Of Puppies" rounded out the top three.

For the drinking round I asked teams in honor of recent films "The Spy Who Dumped Me" and "Mission Impossible" to come up with their best spy name and write up a synopsis for the spy movie that agent appears in. So here's your winning "spy movie" from team "Box Full Of Puppies:"

Title: "Agent Double-Oh-Fist"

Synopsis: While deep under-covers, the World Allegiance needs this agent to get some first hand experience exploring the dank crevices of a stinking neighborhood. He's bound to split this case wide open.

I sure hope this movie is coming soon!
