Well this Tuesday at 40 Love was non-stop action! For the first three rounds it was tight with two clear leaders; Trash-bag Airheads v Quiz Khalifa. Im F*ing Matt Damon were actually holding a solid line too, only a couple of points behind the two leaders. In round 4 it was time for Quiz Khalifa to flex their strengths and some comic book knowledge came in quite handy, being the only team to correctly identify Gotham City as the answer to the 'Where Am I' round, while the others all scored negative points. Then the room was at once both impressed and shocked with a gutsy move from Quiz Khalifa. They shot for a Double Or Nothing in round 5. This quizmaster likes seeing that kind of spirit, they even answered the final question before it was asked! But while it was guts on display it was not to be glory! Quiz Khalifa made one wrong answer, and their Double or Nothing delivered the a zero point round, which saw them loose their strong lead, and they were back in equal first place. This was the moment that Trash-bag Airheads saw their opening. And they pounced with a Double or Nothing of their own, only they pulled it off. And with one final round to go, Trash-bag Airheads were able to sail home comfortably to win the night. So many possible outcomes. Sliding doors.

Seven trivia teams lined up at 40Love on Tuesday night, three of them came home as prize winners, but all of them left happier and a heck of a lot smarter in ways that perhaps wont really make any real difference to their lives. But in other ways its all the difference that counts. Team 'Byte Me' were early leaders after round one, but alas, it was short lived when their confidence got the better of them in the round 2 - picture game - Name the Tech Logo. In a duffle of miscalculations, they hastily mixed the Xerox logo with the X-Box logo, then to make matters more dire, they chose to double or nothing on this round, and came away with a score of zero, and their first place ranking dropped to fourth. But you cant ever count out team Byte Me out, they came back all guns firing, and along with teams 'United Embarrassed' and 'Stash' successfully scored themselves double or nothing rounds on the 'Tn'T round,; where all answers were words that began and ended in the letter T - yes Louis Armstrong was known for playing the Trumpet, and yes underwater heroes fight with Tridents. As the night drew on, a ferric battle ensued, bee and wine was necked, great tunes were dropped. In the end it was a night that belonged to that dynamic duo known as 'Byte Me' with new comers 'Stash' taking second prize, and the fresh duo of 'Oh Really' taking third prize.

40 Love was West Hollywood the place to be for Trivia this Tuesday night. With awesome Los Angeles officially funniest and Smartest Trivia Host free styling with amplification, and funnest, cleaverest, nice-est people hanging out and having fun, all while exercising their thinking caps, and their drinking elbows!! Early on the awesome trio of 'Trashbag & Airheads' were looking good to take home the $30 bar tab prize. But team 'Quiz Khalifa' had other ideas; ideas like sneakily using their 'Double Or Nothing' on the Where Am I round. in the end it was a fantastic round on all palindrome answers that split the pack apart with Quiz Khalifa taking home the goodies.
