With giant plush booths and over 25 flat-screen TVs, 40 LOVE is the perfect neighborhood sports bar to cheer on your favorite team or grab a bite to eat with friends. Our venue is filled with dark wood, lush greenery and white brick — characteristic of a classic American country club.
Six trivia teams lined up at 40Love on Tuesday night, three of them came home winners, but all of them left happier, more relaxed and a heck of a lot smarter in ways that perhaps wont really make any real difference to their lives. But in other ways its all the difference that counts. Team 'Quiz Khalifa' were early leaders after team '2 Ding Dongs' failed at their first attempt at pulling a 'Double Or Nothing' round. But you cant ever count out 2 Ding Dongs, they came back all guns firing, and won the next three rounds with successful 'Double or Nothings' and found themselves with a handy lead. Team 'Queer & Here' were strong in round 5, as was team 'Euro Trash'. But in the end it was a night that belonged to that dynamic duo known as '2 Ding Dongs' with Quiz Khalifa taking second prize, and 'Schu-Go' taking third prize.

Trivia night at 40Love was full of cliffhangers and game changers this week. Early on we had two of our seasoned teams battling it out for supremacy with powerful displays of pop culture knowledge, a dash of geography, politics and a pinch of sports. The BANG, everything changed when the teams were asked to match the feature artists on the DJ Kaled songs, and out of nowhere one of our newer teams, matched every track, and then pulled out a 'Double Or Nothing' play to artfully double their perfect score, creating a whopping 20 pointer round. In the end there were three prizewinners, with only 3 points separating the first place winners from the second. Oh what laughs we had!

This weeks Tuesday night quiz time at 40 Love had a real party atmosphere, which probably had a lot to do with team 'Don' combining their love of trivia and wining prizes with their love of celebrating a birthday party with about 20 of their closest friends. So the bar was pumping and I; your trusty quizmaster, was shouting the questions into the microphone as loud as possible to make sure they were clear, well not too loudly, we don't want the house speakers to distort, though I think they did at the beginning, but that was more a technical issue rather than anything your trusty quizmaster was doing. But once we were away, it was a lot of fun! Some great questions this week, and few curveballs along the way. Team '40 Lux' were gallant as a dynamic duo, taking on the larger teams such as 'Don' who were one of the largest in numbers teams we've seen. In the final round, we ended with three very deserving first, second and third place winners all taking home bar tab prizes.
