With giant plush booths and over 25 flat-screen TVs, 40 LOVE is the perfect neighborhood sports bar to cheer on your favorite team or grab a bite to eat with friends. Our venue is filled with dark wood, lush greenery and white brick — characteristic of a classic American country club.
40 Love was West Hollywood the place to be for Trivia this Tuesday night. With awesome March Madness food specials, and funnest, cleaverest, nice-est people hanging out and having fun, all while exercising their thinking caps, and their drinking elbows!! Early on the awesome foursome of USC alumni known as 'The Brothel' were looking good to take home the $30 bar tab prize. But team 'Byte Me' had other ideas; ideas like sneakily using their 'Double Or Nothing' on the Who Am I round. But wait, team 'Smollett Him Go' just successfully used their 'Double Or Nothing' three times, giving them a massive winning score of 73 points. Then wow, we have three winners of Bar tabs!

It came and it went, just like that. Quizmaster Anna has finished her reign at the ever-cool, ever-trendy, ever-raucous Trivia at 40 Love.
And all of her favorite returning teams came out to provide one AWESOME night. If you've been to 40 Love over the last four weeks, you know then Anna lives for a double down. This week...the impossible became real.
Round 6: EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM. DOUBLED DOWN.
Bu that's not all.
EVERY SINGLE TEAM DOUBLED DOWN SUCCESSFULLY.
Tears were shed. Mostly by Anna, and out of sheer joy. Some tears were also shed by Mickey's Hoes, Swedish Fish Oreos, and Phriends - but not out of sadness. I mispronounced Gigli in a major way, and I like to think teams laughed til they cried. Laughed WITH me.
Regardless - Mickey's Hoes took home the gold at 67 points, trouncing teams who suffered from unsuccessful double downs. Two 2-person teams m, Tapioca Pudding and Have Mercy Aunt Becky, took silver and bronze respectively. A hell of a night.

It was all fun and games this week at 40 Love.
OR WAS IT.
The questions were brutal. The competition was fierce. The first 4 rounds were relatively low scoring rounds. But that did not stop our players this week! Drinks were had. Squash hummus was eaten. And Lord of the Rings characters were listed at length.
In the end, after a close race for first between The Anti Influencers and Colton's Fence Jumpers, it was an unsuccessful double down in round 5 from The Anti Influencers that led to Colton's Fence Jumpers leaping their way to victory, with a cool 65 points.
