What a fun night of trivia! We had a returning team come back with a new kingling! Welcoming baby Archer to the King Trivia family!
The lead in tonight's game fluctuated, but in the end Hail Hydra took home the win with a final round successful double-down! Second went to ship of fools with a successful 6th round double down. Third was a tie between Beeerly Legal and Funky Wagnals, with Wagnals taking the third place with a near-perfect tie breaker!

Great to be back on track at the old road house! 10 teams competed for the top three spots and the riches they included.
4 failed double-or-nothing attempts in the final round and 4 wrong "guess where" round answers kept it a low scoring game.
But even still, the competition was epic! In the end, funky wagnals won with 41 points for a two-night winning spree with a win last night at Charlie's Stars and Stripes in Upland.

What an exciting Halloween we had at Etiwanda Roadhouse! It was a magical convergence of souls on All Hallow's Eve. And oh yeah, we had tons of rowdy fun!
I was subbing for the regular host, and as I had some friends in the area, invited them down. Then, as luck and witches spells would have it, a regular to the game just happened to be someone my friends and I knew from our annual pilgrimage to the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention! So it was an unexpected reunion of sorts, anything can happen when the spirits align on ol' Samhain.
The one man team of a Hat, a Brooch, and a Pterodactyl pulled out an amazing win out of the jaws of Fontana Knowledge with an amazing double down in round 7. Congrats Pterodactyl! Fontana was hoping it would finally be their night, and it almost was. they got 50 points for the first time, and a thrilling second place finish was down to the wire! Plus, we learned we went to the same convention in Vegas every year, so it was just an exciting night all around!
My buddies, The Ingles and Friend kicked butt with a third place finish, even with a -1 in round 4 and a 0 in round 7, they still pulled it out cause they're just that awesome!
And Brotherhood Without Banners gave an impressive show when they strode into the bar in time for round 4, and scored so impressively, they posed quite a threat, - especially with one player's ghoulish black blazer with the pumpkin motif- and still finished the night with an amazing 27!
