About Fatte Albert's Pizza Co.

With over 30 years of restaurant experience between them, Steve and Wendy feel right at home in the pizza kitchen at Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company in downtown Hanford.  Just as Wendy grew up in her family’s pizzeria, their four children can be seen regularly hanging out at the downtown Hanford pizza shop sitting next to Dad as he hand rolls every fresh dough ball, or folding pizza boxes with Mom on the counter.

Born in Hanford and raised in local farming and agriculture communities, Steve and Wendy decided to make Hanford their home and felt that downtown Hanford was the perfect setting for what they had envisioned for the pizzeria they had long dreamed of.

With their kids in local schools and Steve a Marine Corps veteran, giving back to the community that gives so much to them is priority number one.  Shopping local and utilizing local produce, meats, cheese and dairy has always been important to the integrity of Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company.

As other pizza restaurants take short cuts with frozen dough balls, processed meats, cheeses and frozen veggies, we pay more and put more time and effort into our prep process which begins hours before we open our doors.  With that said keep in mind that we are not a fast food establishment.  Everything is made right when you order it, so sit back and enjoy an ice cold pint or a cream soda and watch your dough being hand-tossed and created into a pizza masterpiece from our family to yours!

Welcome Back, Welcome Back.....

 

It was great to see some old familiar faces, and some brand new ones. Actually it’s great to see faces in general, after one year in solitary confinement of quarantine, Senior Jalapeno and King Trivia were back in action at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

The Game started a little late due to unforeseen technical difficulties. (What do you expect after a year off, ha ha ha). The game was dominated by two teams COVIDeo Killed the Radio Star and Ice Cold Corona Viruses, who battled it out neck and neck. We saw the return of a local favorite What’s Left of the Avengers, (Now called “The New Avengers”) but they have a lot of training to due in order to live up to their name sake.  

 

 

In the end it was Ice Cold Corona Viruses who took 1st place, with COVideo killed the Radio Star in 2nd place. A new team Hey Girl, Hey and Him gave an impressive first outing by coming in 3rd place.

We were stocked up on toilet paper and hand sanitizer last night at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

After the first two rounds of play, Ice cold Corona Virus held a decent lead over the rest. That is until The Geeks on Fleek showed they were immune to there game. In the end, The Geeks on Fleek took a dominating 1st Place. Ice Cold Corona Virus came in 2nd Place followed up by The Meat Lovers in 3rd Place.

The bonus round was called Mystery Movie Clips, with Irish theme to it. Each team was given 5 audio clips from various movies and the team who guessed the most correct won. The Meat Lovers managed to name 4 out of 5 correct and take home the free pitcher of beer.

Guess who's Back?

Quizmaster Anthony Jalapeno was back in the saddle at Fatte Alberts in Hanford. The game started off slow until The Meat Lovers decided to go for double or nothing in Round #2 and ate a zero. It was back and forth between What's Left of the Avengers and the Meat Beaters. In the end, the Meat Beaters took 1st Place. The Meat Lovers managed to hold their composure and comeback to finish 2nd place. A new team named The End Result ended up in 3rd place.

The bonus round was a celebration of all things Irish in that one member from each team played Hot Irish Potato. The Meat Lovers took home the victory and and the free pitcher of beer.
