About Fatte Albert's Pizza Co.

With over 30 years of restaurant experience between them, Steve and Wendy feel right at home in the pizza kitchen at Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company in downtown Hanford.  Just as Wendy grew up in her family’s pizzeria, their four children can be seen regularly hanging out at the downtown Hanford pizza shop sitting next to Dad as he hand rolls every fresh dough ball, or folding pizza boxes with Mom on the counter.

Born in Hanford and raised in local farming and agriculture communities, Steve and Wendy decided to make Hanford their home and felt that downtown Hanford was the perfect setting for what they had envisioned for the pizzeria they had long dreamed of.

With their kids in local schools and Steve a Marine Corps veteran, giving back to the community that gives so much to them is priority number one.  Shopping local and utilizing local produce, meats, cheese and dairy has always been important to the integrity of Fatte Albert’s Pizza Company.

As other pizza restaurants take short cuts with frozen dough balls, processed meats, cheeses and frozen veggies, we pay more and put more time and effort into our prep process which begins hours before we open our doors.  With that said keep in mind that we are not a fast food establishment.  Everything is made right when you order it, so sit back and enjoy an ice cold pint or a cream soda and watch your dough being hand-tossed and created into a pizza masterpiece from our family to yours!

After 2 back to back double or nothings in rounds 2 and 3, What's Left of the Avengers was the team to beat. The bonus round, Christmas Scattergories-letter A, went to Team Butternut who named 6 holiday topics for the win. A wrong guess in round 4 for Team Butternut did not prevent them from keeping pace with Drinking Team with a Trivia Problem, Meat Lovers, and Tied for Last. It all came down to the last round to decide who would finish in 2nd place. All within one point of each other, Team Butternut, Drinking Team with a Trivia Problem, and Meat Lovers all finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. Their new Quizmaster, Queen Equizabeth, could hardly contain her excitement.

There was a packed house last night at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

The Meat Lovers took the lead from Round #1 and never looked back. The Meat Lovers took their rightful 1st Place. What's Left of the Avengers spent all night and finished in 2nd Place. Crisco Butter Non-Stick Spray took 3rd Place.

E-Quizabeth hosted the Bonus round which gave one member from each team the opportunity to give Santa their verbal Christmas wish. One member of Pickle Me Elmo wanted his hair back and an Avenger wanted a million dollars. In the End, it was the wife of a service man from Crisco Butter non-stick spray who only wanted her husband home for the holidays. Yup, she ended up the clear cut winner of the free pitcher of beer.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all who came out to play King Trivia at Fatte Alberts in Hanford.

The MeatLovers and What's Left of the Avengers began a battle for dominance when both hit a successful double in Round #1. Round #2 saw all the teams hitting the double or nothing. In the End, it was the MeatLovers who finished in 1st Place. What's Left of the Avengers came in 2nd Place.

E-Quizabeth was on the mic to guest host Round #5 and the Bonus Round. Tonights Bonus round was called "Turkey Tickets". The game saw one member from each team use their Turkey Ticket to Roast other teams or other players. In the end, Team 3 roasted a Pickle me Elmo team member and won the Free Pitcher of Beer.
