Sure, showing off your smarts and winning free food and drink is tremendous fun. Don't believe me? Just ask tonight's top 3 teams: crawdad fisherman, Vodka Jesus Do?, and Finger Lickin’ Good! But supreme smarts aren't the only fun to be had on Trivia Tuesday! Our Logic Is Undeniable are a great example: they didn't recognize a still image from the Dinosaur Train series. So the went for the funny answer instead, identifying the show as... Coke-A-Saurus Writes a Screenplay! Lo and behold, they became the latest winners of the Best Wrong Answer of the Game! A free round of drinks was theirs, and a good time was had by all!

This Trivia Tuesday at Founders Ale House was so legen(wait for it…)dary, the subject of Round 5 - a certain whip-wielding archaeologist - would say, "IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM!" The seven successful doubles in the first round set the stage for a game so full of successful doubling, it currently holds first place in the AL West! (You know things are epic when I use a sports metaphor!) Congrats to Green Thumbs for finishing third, Our Logic Is Undeniable for taking both second place and the Best Wrong Answer of the Game, and game winners The Spanish In-quiz-istion!

QUIZ RECAP

My favorite kinds of teams are the teams that never give in. They know that 5th place can turn into 1st when the right round comes their way. They believe that challenges are made to be conquered. They know the first rule of winning is believing that winning is possible. These are the kind of teams that make Founders Ale House their place to play. And they made tonight's game one to remember! 

ORCA-nized Crime Syndicate seemed to have a lock on 1st from early in the game. But that didn't keep Big Stank from playing at the top of their form, never taking their eyes off the prize. Thanks to a college-football-themed Matching Round, both teams went into the final round tied for the lead! But who knew the most about long-running TV series? Big Stank rose to the task, their skill and perserverence leading to a well-earned victory! Untitled took 2nd, while ORCA-nized Crime Syndicate took 3rd place, as well as a round of drinks for the Best Wrong Answer of the Game! (Venus Flytrap Fuentes, if you were wondering.)
