The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
As always happens this time of year, competition is really heating up as the big Season 9 Tournament of Champions approaches.
Tested Positive For Hogwarts (aka Westeros Baptist Church)put forth a strong performance this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale, taking the win with an very strong 92 points. It's no wonder these accomplished quizzers are currently among our top-ranked teams with just a few weeks left to go.
Speaking of competition, The Bad Explainers put forth a great effort to give Hogwarts a run for their money - and maintain their position in the "top 100" - by coming in second with an impressive 84 points.
Stick Man rounded out our top three with an 82, but they haven't yet registered their team! There's still time, Stick Man! Get off the stick and get on the beam! REGISTER!
And just an FYI: The best way to treat (hog)warts is to rub a little grindelwald on them, of course.

Well NUTS! A regrettable scoring error was pointed out to your faithful quizmaster after the winners had been announced last night at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale. As a result, Wasabi Kit Kat did not receive points they had actually earned. We're happy to rectify that error here, and restore the earned points, which catapults the Wasabi crew into first place.
We apologize to our announced winners, Room For Uncle, Eponymous Potato and Dream Team, who all move down one place in the standings as a result. You all did great, as the final scores certainly attest, and we regret not catching the error in a more timely manner.
It's not an easy or fun task for a quizmaster to admit his fallibility, but right is right, and Wasabi Kit Kat earned the win last night. A round of drinks on me, WKK, when next we meet! (Personally, I blame Uranus is a Gas Giant for all of this, due to them making me say "Uranus is a gas giant) seven times last night!)
