QUIZ RECAP

As usual, we had a rollicking good time on the sideyard patio at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale last night. This despite the fact that a film shoot was being prepared right outside!

If your were one of the many folks we heard from who were unable to get to the brewery due to the blocked access road and temporary "no parking" signs that lined the roadway from end to end, we feel your pain!

We're sorry you missed the fun this week. But the film project should be finished before our next weekly quiz, and all will be back to normal next Tuesday. We'll see you then!

QUIZ RECAP

This week's exciting and delightful evening of trivia competition at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale was notable for the surprisingly large number of new faces/friends that participated and in out ongoing soiree.

In that regard, we offer a gracious tip-of-the-hat to the friendly faces of M.U./F.U., who came to play and walked away with the win! Nicely done, gang. (I confess, I lacked the courage to inquire what "M.U./F.U." stood for. I know I should have. But my imagination prevented me from posing the question.)

Of course, not every face was new. Longtime regulars (and most definitively cool kids) The Kool Kidz Table brought their "A" game to take second. (Perhaps that's their "B" game? Hmmmm. Food for thought.)

And Eat Your Draymond Greens ate up third place, to round out our winners circle. No mysterious creatures in the bushes this week, I'm relieved to report. But the mosquitoes were a threat to any exposed skin throughout the evening. Gotta swat those suckers every chance we get!
