| In 2012, three dads, Akida Mashaka, John Speaks affectionately known to everyone simply as "Speaks", and Paddy Aubrey, met at their children’s preschool and had the idea to create a local neighborhood bar/restaurant concept that catered to local communities, with a fashionable yet relaxing ambiance, where you could go with your family, enjoy a refreshing weekend brunch, have parties, host events, meet up for lunch, catch the game, or simply hang out late night over drinks with friends.

The idea is to provide a friendly neighborhood pub with quality food and drinks that caters to everyone in the immediate and surrounding communities, hence the word "Public" in our name. Our motto "By the People, For the People" is indicative of our community pub concept.

We provide friendly service offering local farm-to-table seasonal contemporary American comfort cuisine with light and healthy options, paired with craft and local beers, quality wines, and specialty and classic cocktails. We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night ambiance. |

The picture round had teams identify the names of famous sports trophies, which Quizmaster Walker learned, have names.

If you expected a twist that teams wouldn't be able to guess M. Night Shyamalan then you, like most of M. Night's later movies, would be ready to be disappointed. Only one team was unable to get it right!

A tough round 5 stumped teams as many struggled to answer most of the questions. Though most were able to get the theme from the questions the had answered

Tonight's drinking round was themed after Quizmaster Walker's home state of Pennsylvania! Teams had to decipher if places like Two Lick Valley, Honey Hole, and Noodle Doozie were actual names of locations in PA! The Toothsome Twosome got the most right and some free drinks. Also, every one of the previously mentioned towns are all REAL NAMES!

The Toothsome Twosome could not be stopped tonight, finding themselves winning both the drinking round and the evening's game!

The NBA finals were not the only close game happening at the Hyperion Public this week! Three teams came to battle it out for some non-basketball related stakes.

Round three saw all teams successfully use a double or nothing earning each of them 12 points!

The drinking round had teams guess if a list of names were a Pokemon or prescription medication type. With three correct answers, Poop Joke won!

Round 7 had teams guessing the top 10 earning cable and network television programs. Teams did very well but no team put Univision, so a perfect round was not had.

At the end of the night, Blowie and the Hoot Fish won themselves a nice gift card and first place!

On a light night we had a close battle between our two teams. With two lead changes, neither team was ever more than 4 points ahead of the other, until the final score. Killer Tofu was able to outlast Everybody Loves Raymond Burr, and both teams took home prizes.
