| In 2012, three dads, Akida Mashaka, John Speaks affectionately known to everyone simply as "Speaks", and Paddy Aubrey, met at their children’s preschool and had the idea to create a local neighborhood bar/restaurant concept that catered to local communities, with a fashionable yet relaxing ambiance, where you could go with your family, enjoy a refreshing weekend brunch, have parties, host events, meet up for lunch, catch the game, or simply hang out late night over drinks with friends.

The idea is to provide a friendly neighborhood pub with quality food and drinks that caters to everyone in the immediate and surrounding communities, hence the word "Public" in our name. Our motto "By the People, For the People" is indicative of our community pub concept.

We provide friendly service offering local farm-to-table seasonal contemporary American comfort cuisine with light and healthy options, paired with craft and local beers, quality wines, and specialty and classic cocktails. We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night ambiance. |

At the start of the night, it looked like Oxy Popcorn had a runaway win in their bag when they had a successful double down on round two and kept their lead for most of the night. However, in round seven Killer Tofu made a killer comeback with a perfect round 7. Though they didn't end up winning at the end of the night, they went from being more than 30 points behind to being just 6 points from the win!

Tonight's drinking round had teams trying to eat a Fruit By The Foot as fast as they could without using their hands. It was almost too close to call but in the end, Oxy Popcorn won free drinks.

For the first three rounds, teams stayed within three points of each other, thus far it was anyone's game.

Teams struggled with the drinking round and no one ventured a guess until the four-point clue!

The PA themed drinking round ended with a tie which led us to a drinking round tiebreaker which was won by Danielle's In LA!

Round 6 had the only perfect round of the night, with 20 points going to Pacific Couriers!

At the night's end, Pacific Couriers took home first place with a 23 point lead.

A well-played night by all!

Excitement was in the air after the big basketball game. Everyone did fairly well in the first round, and almost everyone killed it in the picture round! They knew their world leaders!

Then the teams started to divide with the "Tony" themed round, with Sour Patch Kids jumping ahead. Quiz Khalifah used their double or nothing to jump back ahead in the landmark round, with Uranus is a Gas Giant trailing not far behind.

A lot of teams were stumped by the "Fast and the Furious" round, due to small details like the word "the" as there are so many different variations of the movie titles!

1st and second place teams went back and fourth in a close race, but in the end Sour Patch Kids took home the $25 gift card with Quiz Khalifah coming in 2nd.
