Thanks to all of our teams that came out tonight and EXTRA special thanks to my co-host tonight, Tanna! She did an awesome job and everyone was super supportive of her first time co-hosting!
Our teams tonight were tested on their knowledge of (potentially) psychic characters, Green Day Songs and, of course, Charles Dickens! Unlike Dickens, I am not paid to write this recap by the word!
There was a large amount of movement in the team scores from round to round with Onion Free taking an early lead but then falling behind our winners, The Quiz Mice (welcome to JJ's!) and the Smartinis! Also congrats to our next-to-last winners JennEric, who have been JJ regulars for quite a while!

It just goes to show that a good team, a few drinks, and free-time on a weeknight can net you the top prize!

Ho Ho Holy moly we had a LOT of teams tonight here at the best trivia venue in Sacramento, JJ Pfister Distillery!
TWENTY teams started the night and although some teams couldn't stick it out, everyone had a sleigh load of fun! Our teams were tested on their knowledge of many holidays, traditional holiday songs, holiday shopping patterns and....Sex in the City?
Team Two Pearsons and some Wests were able to capture the coveted first place prize with Team Rye on a rock taking second, both teams narrowly beating out some of our regular teams. Maybe you'll come back more often that every 6 months! Special shout out to the Christmas Elves who went into suddent death for the next-to-last place mystery prize (pictured above).
