QUIZ RECAP
It was the first trivia game of the year at JJ Pfister and our teams were ready test their knowledge. Teams were grilled on a variety of topics, including various Jacks and famous landmarks (no love for Mount Washington Cog Railway in my home state of New Hampshire from the crowd tonight). I also had some burning questions answered this evening, including when it actually ceases to be after Labor Day so I can start incorporating white back into my wardrobe (one non-playing patron insisted that “winter” whites are fine, though). Our teams were neck and neck throughout the evening, but our returning players, Team RB, took a slight lead in our Guess Who round when they were the only team to correctly guess actress Rosario Dawson. Teams Poopy and Dirty Dawgs were hot on their heels, though. It all came down to our final round and no one could quite catch up to Team RB.
All of our teams walked away with prizes tonight, with Team RB taking the top spot. It was great to be back at JJ Pfister for the first game of the year! We’ll be here every Thursday at 6:30 to see if you have the GUTS to go through the trivia gauntlet.

QUIZ RECAP
Our teams were ready and raring to go on this busy New Years Eve Eve! Questions ranged from famous Elizabeths and Elisabeths (the question as to whether they are pronounced differently was never answered) to events in the month of June. Teams It's Sharon's Birthday, She’s 35 Now and Low Bar were neck and neck all night. However, Team It’s Sharon’s Birthday, She’s 35 Now took first place after a big swing and a miss for the double or nothing in round 6 by team Low Bar. Then…things got interesting. Team The DoAbles, who had been hiding back in third place for the entirety of the game, made a successful play for double or nothing in our final round – successfully naming ten of the people that have co-hosted Jeopardy since the passing of Alex Trebek (RIP). It went into a tie breaker round that asked our teams to figure out the decibel level of the loudest cat purr ever recorded (67.8 in case you were wondering) and The DoAbles came closer by a mere two decibels!
All of our teams walked away with prizes tonight, with The DoAbles Now taking the coveted top spot of the evening! I look forward to seeing everyone next year (as in next week at 6:30)!

QUIZ RECAP
It was a tight group of teams this Xmas Eve Eve at JJ Pfister Distilling Company and they were raring to go. Team Yellow Hat (so named after the color of the team creator’s chapeau) pulled ahead early on with a double or nothing in round one. Team Orange (so named after the color of the team creator’s jacket) was close on their heels, but never quite caught up. Team Die Hard Was a Christmas Movie (a sentiment I wholeheartedly agree with) gave a good showing in the later rounds and wound up in third. Yellow Hat were the victors in our jolly pre-Christmas trivia game!
Teams Yellow Hat and Team Orange walked away with gift certificates for JJ Pfister. I can’t think of a better way to spend the start of my holiday than with the fine people at JJ Pfister. We’ll be back next week with our New Year’s Eve Eve trivia game!
