It's here, your King Trivia recap from Tuesday night at LA Draught!

It was a tough competition especially with two top teams from last week fighting for an upgrade and redemption. I Lost My Virginity At... stayed comfy right where they left off last Tuesday, and claimed the third place title again with 49 points. Lord Henry, 1st of His Name had a good grip for a spot at the top the entire game, they won the Drink Round, and also received the second place prize with 64 points. With the highest score of the night of 70 points, the Draught Dodgers leveled back to first place, somewhere very well known to these champs. 

Chef Andrea spoiled me with a Carne Asada Salad, that of course was BOOOMB! Thank you Chef and thank you LA Draught for another fun (and tummy) filled Tuesday night of King Trivia. See you next Tuesday!

QUIZ RECAP

No room, no room! We completely filled the house for King Trivia, we even had two teams sit in the back patio. With record attendance and twelve teams in contention, these are the results.

I Lost My Virginity At... made it back on the leaderboard this week claiming third place with 64 points. Just one point ahead of them, the Draught Dodgers continue their leaderboard streak, finishing in second place with 65 points. And in first place, Beer 1, Trivia 0 is king of the hill with the highest score of the night of 69 points.

I've learned that at this location the universe likes to reward those who share a table with people they don't know. It happened again last night as Four Strangers shared a table, joined forces to create a team, and were awarded a pitcher of beer during the Drink Round for guessing the closest answer without going over. How cool is that? Congratulations, cheers, and a huge thank you to everyone for playing!

I took advantage of Chef Andrea's Carne Asada and she rewarded me with my favorite fries. Only an outstanding crew like the one at LA Draught can provide the perfect and safe atmosphere to play our favorite game. Thank you, and see you next Tuesday!

QUIZ RECAP

For the first week of July, with a little delay of course due to the long holiday weekend, we kicked it off at LA Draught playing the best game on Earth, King Trivia!

Our seven rounds ended with a tie at the very top, while the mighty Draught Dodgers had two wins for the night. Guessing the closest answer during the Drink Round, and claiming third place with 51 points, the DD's have proven they are a force to be reckoned with. Try to knock them off the leaderboard, I dare ya! Now, about that tie, with the highest score of the night of 55 points, the trusty tie-breaker round left Little Lebowski Urban Achievers in second place and No Vacancy with the first place title. I love a good battle! Way to go, and congratulations to everyone!

Chef Andrea's Grilled Chicked Club never fails, although, sorry it does not come with a drool bucket. Meet us here at LA Draught next Tuesday for your King Trivia fix, meanwhile I'll be thinking about what to order next week. TTFN!
