QUIZ RECAP

Another Tuesday night packed at LA Draught, so packed in fact, that folks were joining us for King Trivia from the outside patio. Amongst the 11 teams playing, the points ended interestingly spread out, with a top score of 70 points from team Bug Boys. They technically won first place, however they gracefully payed forward their win to the next high score, due to house rules. Therefore, the winners of the $50 GC went to Zero Days Sober with 61 points, who also got the closest answer for the drinking round, and won it for the second week in a row! Second place with 50 points went to the Quarantinos who received the $25 GC. Third place went to Pocket Puck (originally come in fourth place) with 42 points, unfortunately they left before I annouced the new order of winning teams. So the next team up for the awesome prize of 10% off next visit, went to the power duo Cabs Are Here who finished with 38 points. These two lovely ladies were surprised to be awarded, but I've said it before and I'll happily say it again, never underestimate yourselves! Your (our) brains are amazing. I've seen a team of one win first place before, true story!

As always, I congratulate all players as well as the winners for all of your knowledge. Sometimes it's the strategy of playing, like using double or nothing, that hides how much you actually know because it doesn't project in the final outcome of points. So congrats to all, and can't wait to see you back again for more King Trivia next Tuesday. Thank you LA Draught for having us!

Special mention to Chef Tino who awarded me with with a mouthwatering grilled chicken, with bacon, avocado, cheese (I think), shredded lettuce, and tomato sandwhich. Mmmmmm... words cannot describe how freakin' good it tasted! Chef Tino, your passion and love for cooking truly reflects in the taste of your food. I will never get enough of it, thank you so much!

QUIZ RECAP

Waft the smoke out of the room, these teams were on fire this week! With a top score of 84 trailed by second place by one teensy-weensy point, our players were not messing around. They wanted those prizes, and fought to the last drop. In first place Name of Your Sex Tape claimed the champ title back and took home the $50 GC. Folks, this team doubled down back-to-back in rounds one, two, AND three, then again in the sixth. That's probably where they had the advantage to second place, if you can call one point that, hehe. I Lost My Virginity At... pressed the turbo button in the fifth round doubling down, and then doubling down again in the sixth, giving them a 40 point jump into second place and the $25 GC. For third place I had to bust out with round eight for a tie-breaker since C U N Tuesdays and Zero Days Sober were tied with 71 points. Zero Days Sober took the win, and they also happened to win this week's drinking round! 

LA Draught hosted 11 teams this week, the house was packed! Even Bandito, honorable member of the Tune Squad, joined us for King Trivia. We love our pets at King Trivia, and it's nice to see LA Draught welcomes doggos too. Thank you everyone for another Tuesday night of laughs, fun, and showing off your smarts! See you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Brand new month, brand new questions, but the same good times at LA Draught! This time around the teams played it safe from round one until round six came along, then bam-bam-bam, the double or nothings start firing! Five teams managed to earn the double points, but it was first place winners Quarantinos with 67, and in second Tiny Tunes with 61 points, that doubled down on the seventh round as well, and finished six points apart. I Lost My Virginity at... was elbow-to-elbow with 57 points against C U Next Tuesdays who finished with 56, beat them to the third place prize.

It was a very interesting game and really hard to tell who was gonna claim the fabulous prizes provided by LA Draught. A special shout-out to BDT's who although threw in the towel by round six, managed to guess the closest answer to this week's drinking round. Cheers, mates! A warm thank you to our wonderful house, LA Draught, always. Thank you Chef Tino, for my precious and incredibly delicious hamburger, you truly cook with your heart!
