QUIZ RECAP

This week at LA Draught, nine teams joined us for King Trivia, three teams were awarded for their smarts, and one team was awarded in the Drink Round. Although everyone played it safe this week, there were still great scores, and prizes were claimed. 

Victoria's Angels came in third place with 46 points, they received 10% off their next visit. Lost My Virginity At... beat the Angels by one point, so 47 points got them second place, and that came with a $20 GC. In first place, was Drunkin Donuts, with a great score of 59 points. They were awarded a whopping $40 GC for their triumph. Shout out to Naby Lads! who guessed the closest answer to the Drink Round, cheers! Congrats to all, and thank you so much for playing!

Thank you LA Draught for your great and generous hospitality! We turly love you, and Chef Tino! Chef brought a tear to my eye this week as he prepared a meal for me that is from my hometown. I described the Carne Asada Fries meal to him, and with his love and magic he recreated it for me, but with even better since it was topped with his delectable roasted salsa! Mmm... Folks, you need to try this next time! It was BOMB!! I tell you, I am spoiled here. I love being part of the LA Draught family, I am truly honored. A million thanks and see you next Tuesday!

QUIZ RECAP

This week at LA Draught, seven teams were going at it, elbowing left and right for a claim at the prize! Such close scores, it was all strategy starting all the way back from Round One. Shout out to Team Belli, who played amazingly for being their first time playing! They had a great streak, until Round Seven got the best of them. They snatched that picther of beer, however, during our Drink Round, guessing the closest answer to my question of the night. Cheers, ladies! At the top of the scoreboard, the points were so tight Round Eight was used to break the tie for second and third place for 65 points. Three-Must-Get-Beers broke the tie and achieved a long-time deserved win for second place. In third place, Lost My Virginity At... 65. No shame in that, you played it safe and took your time.... buttum-bump!

Finally, in first place, Dumb & Dumber dominated again, with only two points ahead, took the big prize home! Very well played, that's two first place wins for them back to back, yikes! Will they defend and keep their title next week, or will your team be the one to knock them out of their spot? Only one way to find out, folks, so we'll see you next week!

The doors to October have opened, and just like that, we've entered a new month. Welcome back to your LA Draught-King Trivia recap! Wickedly high scores at the top of the scoreboard this Tuesday, majority of the double-downs were successful. American Adobo finished in third place with a whopping 85 points! They also received a pitcher of beer for guessing the closest answer to our Drink Round, bottoms up, gentlemen! Just three points ahead, the Quaratinos finished in second place with a phat 88 points, and took the $20 GC prize. Finally with a blaaazing total of 90 points, Dumb and Dumber won first place and were awarded a $40 GC. It was the closest to a perfect score that I have seen. Round Five, however, got the best of them, and with one of their answers wrong, they lost their chance to double down. That didn't stop them though, it was just the last scratch they needed after a good Vegas trip, heh-heh. Congratulations winners, congrats all teams and their players, cheers to all, thank you for playing!
