Is there anything better than a warm spring night near the beach, with good friends, good food, good drinks and great trivia? Kevin Costner might think heaven is in Iowa, but for me, it's Wednesday nights at OB's Pub and Grill.
We're starting to see a new rivalry at our weekly games, as recent addition Richmond Rejects continue to announce their presence with authority. After a shaky start last week, they started this week strong and stayed strong all night, but it would be our favorite duo P.O.P. who would end up taking a commanding and ultimately unassailable lead with multiple successful double or nothings.

Another amazing evening of trivia at OB's tonight. Our second biggest number of teams competed, including a new to us team from another King Trivia venue joining for the first (and hopefully not last) time. Hi, Olive!
Several players commented to me tonight that this was one of the best games they ever played, not just for the competition itself but for the exceptionalness of the questions. For most of the game, it was a tight competition between four teams, but Mr. PBH would make a crucial double or nothing in round five that would end up giving them the edge they needed to take the night.

The wind was blowing fierce outside OB's Pub and Grill, but the competition inside was even more fierce. It was one of our most challenging groups of questions, but our regular teams and our new friends took their game to a new level. Lots of lead changes all night, with one newer team, one favorite returning for the first game in a while, and one of our longtime regulars bouncing around like a pinball at the control of a wizard. For the second week in a row, Our Team Our Choice took the checkered flag.
And look at this cutie patootie! Such a good puppy all night long.
