QUIZ RECAP

Man! I feel like the writers at editorial staff must have had a terrible day at the office on Wednesday because they HAMMERED the teams at the always awesome Oil Horse Brewing Company in lovely downtown Longview, TX. During the always fun and festive Art Walk, our intrepid teams came it out of the heat, only to get walloped by some very difficult questions. They did the best they could and darn it, I'm proud of them!

Once the dust settled, Moops, I Did It Again finished on top with 45 points. We also had our first ever tie! We resorted to the man, the myth, the legend, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to settle it, and King Trivia regulars, The Periodic Table Dancers, finished in second while In Dog Beers, I've Only Had One finished in third place.

QUIZ RECAP

Good day, True Believers! We had a packed house last night at the always awesome, always amazing Oil Horse Brewing Company in lovely downtown Longview! We had 17 teams compete last night, which meant we had a tight back and forth contest that wasn't fully decided until last few rounds when the use of some Double or Nothings came back to hurt some of the contending teams. Last night also featured a "stumper" which is question no team answered correctly ( it involved The Beatles Classic "Day Tripper") and no one getting 10 points in Round 4, which was the first time that happened in weeks! In other words, it was a tight game!

When the dust settled, Everything Is Ossamus edged the LaVar Burton-less Reading Rainbows 66-65 to finish in 1st place. That Must Be Nigel With The Brie finished in 3rd with 55 points.

QUIZ RECAP

Good day, True Believers! It's your friendly neighborhood quiz master! Once again, we had yet another amazing night of questions and answers at the always amazing Oil Horse Brewing Company in lovely downtown Longview! As is so often the case, we had yet another close, tight game that literally came down to the last round to determine not only the winner, but the the entire Top 3! Bob, Wehadababyitsaboy was able to use their impressive knowledge of films based SNL sketches to Double or Nothing their Round 7 score, allowing them to vault to the lead with 70 points! In second place was Everything Is Ossamus with 59 points and in third was the terrific twosome, the Duo Trash Pandas with 50 points! Special shout-out to the Three Seashells for also running the table on Round 7 by correctly naming 10 of the 11 films on the list. FYI, Tommy Boy, Anchorman, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Black Sheep, while all amazing movies, do not fit the category, which led to quite a few incorrect answers, whomp whomp!
