QUIZ RECAP

It was a perfect evening for King Trivia (when is it not though?) tonight at Paulista Brazilian Kitchen and Taproom. Nine teams came out to partake in the fun and enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Team Benchpress and Diet starts monday both started strong with successful double or nothing gambles during our Picture Round. They remained at the top until Hopefully Not Dead Last successfully hit on their own double or nothing during our Handout Round, which landed them in second place behind Team Benchpress.  During the final round, The List Round, Team Benchpress was able to hold onto their slight lead by flexing their knowledge of recent Olympic Games host cities and they were our winners (and took home $25 Paulista gift card) for the evening. Hopefully Not Dead Last lived up to their name and earned the silver medal (and the $15 Paulista gift card) for the night.

Thanks to all the teams that came out tonight and I especially enjoyed how creative many of you got during the Handout Round, where teams were drawing keyboards to help them match which special character symbols went with what numbers. Fun times all. Until next time.  

QUIZ RECAP

Temperatures cooled down slightly today in the Bay Area but the competition heated up tonight at Pualista’s Brazilian Kitchen and Taproom, as nine teams came out to play some King Trivia. The Jon Snows started strong making a statement in Round 1 General Knowledge questions with a bold double or nothing gamble that gave them an early lead. They would not relinquish that lead the entire evening and they ended up our victors (and winners of the $25 gift card to Paulista’s). The battle for second place came down to Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number and Not Dead Last with Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number earning the $15 Pualista’s gift card thanks to their knowledge of the U.S. states that have joined the union since 1889.

The rest of the teams kept Paulista’s rocking all night, as there were multiple cheers of joy (and gasps of regret) after hearing the correct answers. Thanks everyone for coming out and contributing to the fun. Until next time

QUIZ RECAP

Seven spirited teams capped off the holiday weekend playing King Trivia at Paulista’s Brazilian Kitchen and Taproom tonight. Team Benchpress pulled ahead for the early lead after the first few rounds, but as the night went on Chips Ahoy and Old School caught up and we had a three way tie for first place as we went into the final round. The tension was palpable.

The final question asked how many of the ten most popular dog breeds of 2020 can you name. After the teams racked their collective minds…Chips Ahoy edged out a one point victory for the evening (and the $25 Pualista’s gift card). Team Benchpress and Old School ended up tied after the final round, which meant we had to go to a tie-breaker to settle second place. Old School had a closer answer for the tie-breaker question and were awarded the silver medal (and the $15 Pualista’s gift card).
